So true! I need a mobile friendly version of BoxingScene. I am ios user so android app useless for me.
Boxingscene is mobile friendly. Scroll to the very bottom and you have the option of desktop version or mobile version.
Now boxingscene just needs an overhaul and we'll be good.

I'm not convinced it offers a particularly good UX (user experience).
It feels quite busy and I'm not sure where to look. On the homepage the up and coming fights and results should be made more prominent as these are probably users would want to see. There's also a gaping white space to the left hand side.
The tables that display boxer info feel small and cluttered. I think these could be laid out better to be honest.
Fonts are too small and potentially difficult to read for some users - they'd probably fail W3C web standards.
Its not that bad but considering its a brand new design/build probably could have been better.
On a plus side its fully responsive (works across multiple screen resolutions, from desktop down to mobile).
it will take some getting used to, but i think it's an improvement.

love this shot from floyd's profile page. marquez trying, floyd denying.
thoughts???????
I actually like it. Will take a bit getting used to but the old format was painful. This one is far better on mobile and that is what I want it for anyway.
Their p4p list is lol
1 Floyd Mayweather Jr Welterweight
2 Wladimir Klitschko Heavyweight
3 Gennady Golovkin Middleweight
4 Saul Alvarez Super Welterweight
5 Sergey Kovalev Light Heavyweight
6 Manny Pacquiao Welterweight
7 Miguel Cotto Middleweight
8 Kell Brook Welterweight
9 Keith Thurman Welterweight
10 Erislandy Lara
No wonder they kept calling Lara a p4p fighter when he was fighting delvin rodriguez
It's just funny Larry, that you're the first to tell someone there's already a thread about said topic and you make a thread that is sitting parallel to the exact same topic. :lol1:
On topic, I have not seen it. I visit box rec maybe two, three times a year.
Weights are back and it has a proper search function which is good.
Does look a little cluttered though im sure it will be ok once we are used to it.
An improvement...
