Have they ever sent over a contract to begin negotiations? Because thats what calling someone out is. All the yapping over twitter and flapping gums on youtube prove nothing. We've seen guys like Broner call out Manny, Guerrero, Marquez, etc, and not a single contract was ever sent. Lara wants GGG so bad, he just fought another jr middleweight instead of making his case against a 160 pounder. Ward wants GGG so bad, that hes fighting a guy with back to back losses at a catchweight. So with all of these rah rah comments by Lara and Ward and how they want to fight GGG so bad,
have they even attempted to begin a negotiation?
What happened was when it looked like the fight might be possible, LSC went running to the Haymon Protection Agency where he can hide from Rigo for eternity if he wishes.
Exactly my point. But some people just take this calling out way too seriously. Then brand the one they call a duck. It's idiotic. In Santa Claus case, turned out that he's not serious about Rigo.
So Santa Cruz called out Rigo multiple times and the Cuban responded. What happened there? Who was supposed to make the first step? Didn't Oscar make a move and try to make it happen?

So according to some idiots here if someone calls you out you should send him a contract to prove you're not ducking him. Therefore, when Lara calls out the Russian superstar, GGG should send him a contract. :pat:
Seriously, how does it work? Lara calls out GGG, then what's the next step? Isn't Lara supposed to get in touch with his father Haymon and tell him to contact GG's people? Educate me. I'm all ears.
lara has no drawing or negotiating power in boxing so what would happen is if ggg decides to fight lara he would send lara an offer where ggg gets about 1.5 million and lara gets about 100k like monroe and lara would reject it and say "no i deserve more, i just fought rodriguez for a million dollars." this is what happens when haymon overpays guys that can't draw.

lara just fought edwin rodriguez for 1 million dollars. i don't see him fighting ggg for 100k like monroe did. andre "free tickets" ward is an irrelevant cheater. its a shame he's coming back but hopefully he bombs and is driven out of boxing due to lack of interest. even if he finally decides to fight ggg he will ask for millions so that's not happening. hbo had enough of his sh-it and refused to show his crap fights.

Only broke guys with no fan base wanna fight mr HBO . GgG is the A side to anyone except canelo and cotto and floyd.
GgG should fight lee or mora. Clean out 160.
martinez and bow cotto want and wanted nothing to do with him. He should call out kelly pavlik. Tell he can get drunk and fight him in youngstown ohio..
Loeffer said no to the ward fight because it ain't PPV yet, so why send a contract?
HBO is the issue or should I say money. The amount of money the two guys want would require a ppv. It really is that simple. That is why I like the **** talking going on now. Hopefully it can create a buzz for the fight along with Ward disposing of Smith impressively. A couple more impressive wins by both guys, and some **** slinging, and maybe the fight can generate the kind of interest needed to get both guys paid and in the ring next year.
Sending over a contract without talking to the other side first would be out of line. The two sides need to talk it out first and when they have agreed on everything they sign contracts if they really want to fight. I believe Lara wants to fight GGG and Ward does not want to fight GGG.

I find it weird too. Ward is much more accomplished than GGG is at the moment yet it's Ward who has to keep mentioning GGG to stay relevant.
No one gives a toss about Lara. I don't know why people keep bringing him up as if he's a huge draw.
If we restricted calling fighters ducks only if they sent a contract than most of BS calling fighters ducks would disappear. I'll even put myself on blast. I think Cotto is ducking GGG, but I can't recall K2 even sending a contract to Cotto's people.
No need for K2 to send a contract to Cotto's people. GGG is Cotto's mandatory and it is up to the champion to set up the fight and make the formal offer.
Ward said the fight has to be at the Oakland boys and girls club on BET. Rounds will be 4 minutes, and GGG isn't allowed a trainer or cut man.
I'm pretty sure that Golovkin would fight Ward bare knuckled on the street if the opportunity presented itself. :boxing:
GGG is worse than all of them.Calling out Floyd like an idiot. That's shamefully trying to build your name off the man who has worked the hardest in the sport. But you dont care about that because you're just making excuses for GGG. They all only fight for money and GGG more so than most
Well then Ward and Hopkins are idiots too.

And when have Lara or Wards people ever attempted to do so?

Leon, you usually post good stuff but this is goofy. Why do fans always think they are privy to the goings on between management teams?? Not every manager is yappy like Golovkin's and running their mouth to the media. In fact, we've seen contradictory info come out of Golovkin's camp on more than one occasion.
Further, when Ward fought Rodriguez, Genady's coach said his guy wasn't ready for Ward. Ward gets into a legal dispute and suddenly they can't stop taking about Ward ducking. Now the man is ready to fight and Golovkin runs and says "stop picking on me" in the media, we can't fight you anyway.
