I am a big fan the level of skills I see in Rigondeaux and Lara. It's a shame they will never be main stream attractions ( especially Rigo) because of their fighting style. I say that bc Rigo might just be the most technically skilled/gifted/talented fighter I've ever seen in my life. I was just curious if anyone knows of anymore Cubans that I should be looking out for over next couple years.
Marcos Forrestal. Everyone remember him
Marcos plays NO GAMES. He actually beat Robeisy Ramirez in the Cuban National Boxing championship back in 2013.
If I would say who would be the next "great" boxer to come out of Cuba to turn pro, I see potential greatness out of Erislandy Savon. But that whole Cuban squad (Domadores) is full of exceptional talent. Robeisy Ramirez-Carranza (When he takes himself seriously) and Roniel Iglesias-Sotolongo could both change the general public's perception about Cuban fighters not knowing how to go toe-to-toe. That's their M.O. Julio Cesar la Cruz's style would be HATED, but he has that "heel-character type" style about himself.
hairon was offered to fight panty cruz and declined, win or lose that would have been his ticket, I have a feeling he's going to regret that for a very long time.when was this? He only has like 14 fights and could prob beat him right now

The HW from Cuba's team in World Series of Boxing.
He might throw too many punches and hit too hard for your taste though.
Completely destroyed everyone he's been in with so far.
