He's one scary confident fighter,I bet he would take Brook into deep water and possibly stop him late or win with a few kd's
LOL he keeps looking around suspicious, like he's looking for the popo
It is a well known, scientific fact that a heavy bag will sink to the bottom in deep and shallow waters.
The only thing Rios can take into the deep are Oreo Cookies in milk.
.
No one has been able to stay with Rios on the inside, only thing he has to do find a way to break away from clinches, get dirty and discourage brook from clinching.
I don't mind Rios he's pretty funny, but he is talking absolute nonsense here.
Also the comments "Brook is shook" "he running from Rios!" are laughable seeing as Brook and Hearn were the ones that started the ball rolling with this fight.
Yeah seriously, I consider myself a Bam Bam fan (he grew on me) and it pisses me off when people around here talk like he's some D grade bum. No he may not be the most skilled boxer (obviously), but he brings it and is willing to fight anybody. He's entertaining as f**k and has carved out a really nice career for himself. 33-2 with 24 KOs, has headlined several of his own HBO cards, was a challenger in a PPV card, and his only 2 losses (officially anyway) were to Manny Pacquiao & Mike Alvarado.
He's come farther than a lot of dudes in the sport of boxing.
Rios is a perfect example to me of why the intangibles in boxing matter, but most ignore them for whatever reason. He clearly is'nt a great boxer, but dude manages to find a way to win most of the time. Anyways. i think Brook should beat him, but I would'nt be shocked if Rios catches him with something at some point and we will find out about Brook's chin.
the guy can barely string a coherent sentence together, he clearly already has brain damage.
he needs to retire unless he wants to be a vegetable...
i think we all know brook would box his head off...:sombrero:
I agree with a lot of what Rios said of Brook and his opponents. While I think Khan's ducking of Brook is shamefull, I found it very ironic of Hearn to be criticising Khan's opponents with Brook sat next to him.
Yeah Khan ducked Brook, looked terrible against Algieri and doesn't deserve a Floyd fight, he still has the better resume and fights the better opposition. Khan boxed Algieri and Alexander in his last two while Brook had Frankie Gavin and Jo Jo Dan. Brook mentions and calls out names but rarely/never goes ahead with it, even Rios will be seen as an easy touch but better than his recent opposition.
Porter being the only name on your record doesn't give you much room to talk ****.
I'm a Rios fan but the blueprint is already out there to beat him, i.e. boxing and movement. Also Rios is not that good at 147. I think Brook has better wins at 147 (vs. Porter).
I like Rios but he's simply really not that good. I'll still follow his career though. I love watching him fight.
It is when ur calling out Thurman, Maidana, Floyd and Pac..then u throw Rios name at the end, knowing damn well u have no intentions of fighting Maidana and Thurman
:lol1:
Given that Maidana weights 400 lbs and Thurman is fighting in July this is a damn fine fight.
Brook should win quite easily though.

Just remember that train of thought when Brook puts a beating on him.
Bam Bam is a OG.
He is limited in skills, but I think he would give Brook a tough fight.

i don't think Brook would have too many problems with rios
