Anyone here not a Cotto fan anymore?

Cotto has his fans, I'm sure he will still draw and do well in NY without a few of his critics on this Forum Support. Well I've watched Cotto entire Career, I'm not looking for any Validation or for Cotto to prove himself at this point of his career. This is him on his down side and a few fights from retirement, what he does from here on out really don't have any impact on his Career or Legacy IMO. Cotto spent YEARS fighting the best win or lose and people are going to give him sh1t now because he is taking advantage of his own name and following and making all the money he can and doing what he wants after giving you years of doing what Fans, Arum and HBO wanted? Yes I want him to fight Canelo and/or GGG and if it has to be on his terms to make it happen WHO CARES! Respect it and accept it or Fuk off because it is true he doesn't need either for anything! Bro, EXACTLY how I feel. I am not looking at the 34 year old Cotto for "proof..." I am good with the 140 147lb Cotto. Most of these guys must think Cotto started his career at 154lbs... Fake ass fans.

All over the boxing internet I am reading comments from Cotto fans that are turning on him for the whole weight situation and threatening to cancel the fight. Has all of this changed your opinion about Cotto? They wasn't never fans to begin with then. You don't just turn your back on him Cuz he's using his pull to get his way. Plenty of fighters are doing and have been doing it. It's been done to him before aswell. Only thing cotto fans have to do is not front like this cw sh1t for the mw title isn't lame. After acknowledging that, what else is there to do??? F*ck Geale anyway, the big fight between Cotto-canelo will not be affected by this cw bs either. So just relax guys.

I didn't just start watching boxing, and I am not yet on that GGG weak resume bandwagon... I have enjoyed Cotto in his prime...The Ricardo Torres fight comes to mind...Cotto at 34, does not have to be THAT Cotto anymore. The Cash out is in full effect. Wish him well and will always be a fan. Geale being an alcholic who can't seem to cut back on the pints, is NOT reason for me, to turn on Cotto like a bandwagon fan. Buncha 16 year old "fans..." The worst thing he has done is choose Geale as an opponent. And yeah he has been acting crazy with Geale, with the comments he is making and staying at 160. Everything else is okay. Just this Geale stuff is whack.

Still a fan. Geale had no problem signing a contract for a fight at 157, why should it bother me.

I was a fan up until the delvin fight. The moment that he started posturing against Martinez over him being the a side,while Martinez was still the lineal champ,really annoyed me. I don't know where he got it from,but he's developed a god complex,and is even referring to himself in the 3rd person.

Never thought very much of him to begin with and think even less of him now.

I used to like Cotto. Now I hate his effing guts.

Before 09 I backed him against Mosely, Gomez, Margarito. He was fighting 3 times a year and steadily upping the competition, fun to watch, great body puncher. Post 09, after Pacquaio embarrassed him, he obviously realized he didn't have elite skills and just cashed in on his nationality. He cherrypicks dangerously past prime or disabled fighters and beats them up for a stadium of drunk Puerto Ricans. He's kind of their version of Butterbean. Except we don't pretend Butterbean is actually good at boxing.

No longer a fan. I got pissed over Martinez and tried keeping a straight head about it, but this is too much.

well.. i was rooting for him for martinez fight, and i liked martinez. now im rooting for geale even though i dont even like him... so........ yeah...........
