Yes, you read it correctly! Taylor has finally been removed from the RING top 10 Middleweight rankings. Numbers 8, 9 and 10 all move up a spot with Lemieux being added to the rankings at number 10. A long overdue move. All they need to do now is to drop Quillin down the rankings from his current ridiculous number 3 that he in no possible way deserves.
The REAL Lineal champion removed from the list.
They can strip you Jermain but they can't take your lineage.
It would have been MUCH better to put him in the ring across from Golovkin and watch his brain explode in the ring and see him die there. :nutkick:
He beat N'Dam for the title that N'Dam will be fighting Lemieux for. He was stripped after pointing a gun at a family during a Martin Luther King parade but remained on the rankings for some reason until today.
Jermain Taylor and N'Dam have not fought.
That fight was a farce. Both fighters combined threw fewer punches than Murray threw against GGG and HALF the punch total that GGG threw against Murray. Neither fighter deserved a decision in that fight or the title. They should both have been ashamed of the performance they gave.
Yet, it was still more entertaining than any GGG fight.
damn that's sad he was even on it, then again he didnt lose his title either; Cotto should not even be in that division. I actually hoping for a Trout like upset this weekend
What was he doing on it to begin with? Sheesh.

I wouldn't go that far.
I thought the first 4-5 were good & exciting then they both became a little gun shy. ( Recently Quillen almost fights scared ) Doesn't matter though Quillen should have won and that div is sh.it
I would. Here are the punch stats for the fight.

In the Murray fight, Golovkin LANDED 292 punches out of 816 thrown. So he landed more than Quillin threw over 12 rounds and almost the same number as Lee threw.
Murray threw 469, almost equal to the combined total of Lee and Quillin.
Lee and Quillin are not even in the same league with GGG or Murray.

Him not making weight was BS , but he should have got the decision against Lee

Based on what? 4 fights in the past three years, ending with a draw in a fight where he did not even make weight? He doesn't deserve a top 10 spot at this time.

Quillen should be #2
