Not saying either would enhance them particularly much but let's look at it:
Kell Brook:
Undefeated, 35-0 (24KO), current #1 ranked welterweight in the world and IBF champion. The winner of that fight would effectively be undisputed welterweight champion. Something Floyd has never done.
Amir Khan:
Bigger name in boxing. Been a world champion at light welterweight and has been on the world scene for 6-7 years now. Was known as a sort of new Oscar dela Hoya when he came through and has campaigned for the Mayweather fight for a long time.
Forget money and fame. Boxing terms, who would enhance Mayweather's legacy the most?
Not much. Khan has done jack sh*t and looked bad in his Algieri fight.
Undisputed has a nice ring to it and although he has the best single win at 147 aside from May and Pac, Brook isn't established as a great WW.
About the same. A win over Brook or Khan would do very little for Mayweather's legacy.
That was wrapped up when he beat Cotto at LMW and sealed when Mayweather cleaned for the floor with Pacquiao.
Interestingly, nearly double the amount of posters here believe Brook would enhance Mayweather's legacy more than Khan.
Interesting and factual.
Will Khan fans ever wake up?
If you actually saw the fight and the punch stats, it was Khan who was beating the living crap out of Garcia up until the lucky sucker punch. As for Peterson, the punch stats show Khan beat Peterson more convincingly than Garcia did (many believe Peterson deserved the win over Garcia), despite the fact Khan fought the much tougher illegal PEDerson version. The only reason Khan lost is because of the hometown referee's 2 silly point deductions. And finally, Matthysse is nothing compared to Khan's complete shut-out victories against against Judah and Alexander, both of whom already beat Matthysse. Overall, Garcia has only ever had 4 convincing UD/KO victories against world champions, whereas Khan has had 9 convincing UD/KO victories against world champions. Objectively, Garcia's resume doesn't come close to Khan's resume.
And once again, Garcia isn't even a welterweight. First let the guy move up to welterweight, and at least fight a WW fight or two, before naming him as a potential Floyd candidate. I know you must have a burning hatred for Khan, but stop being so childish and irrational. Naming a LWW who has never fought at WW before as the top potential candidate for the WW king, that's just plain delusional.

Garcia is just as much a WW as Khan is. They are both fighting LWWs at a higher weight.
I don't think either enhances his legacy. Not that his legacy wasn't already set in stone in the first place, but the Pacquiao win really solidified it, and either Brook or Khan would just be another name added. Nothing more, nothing less.
CompuBox Stats: Khan vs Garcia
Khan was clearly dominating Garcia in rounds 1 and 2, and most of round 3 up until Garcia's lucky punch near the end of round 3. The punch stats speak for themselves.
Lol. Compubox numbers? He practically got decapitated in there. He won two rounds in a fight he got stopped in? Big whoop. He got stopped.
I see you've taken the word "sucker" out now. Baby steps.
There's no such thing as a lucky punch in boxing btw.
Neither. Mayweathers legacy is already set in stone after May 2nd.
Khan or Brook are two guys Floyd beats easily and neither have anything to phase him

Do you base all your arguments off Compubox? :lol1:
Garcia had started catching him with the left hook from about round 2 iirc. Khan wasn't beating the living crap out of anything.

Garcia sucker punched Khan doe!
So Angel was shouting "wake up Danny, he's picking you apart" for no reason. And those two cuts magically appeared on his face.
What is with this new trend of citing corner advice as some type of concrete evidence? You see fights where a guy is pitching a shutout into the late rounds and his corner will tell him he needs a knockout to win. Does that mean they're actually losing the fight? It's about motivation.
shut the hell up. khan was never close to "beating the living crap" out of garcia.
