Face facts, Amir Khan is a top 10 p4p fighter.

I find it hard to rate any fighter as top 10 with losses to Danny Garcia and Lamont Peterson on their record. Khan has beat some good opponents, but I think the loses tarnish his record enough to keep him out of the top 10

Yes that's true, offensive fighters who put their chin out there more are gonna have it tested more. Khan has fought high quality opposition and not been significantly KD to substantiate claims of "glass jaw", it's really silly! Floyd too has NOT put that chin out as much opting to run for a reason. And it aint cause he likes getting hit that's for sure! He got wobbled by Algieri.......a guy with only 8 KO's. He's been KO'd two times and KD'd 8 times. He ties up and headlocks for safety......his chin is schit.

Dude is not a top p4p fighter....I honestly felt the pbc announcers were straight ****ting on algeiri last night...I had the fight for algeiri with the swing RDS going to Chris for his pressure and clean punching...face it a meer con is not the answer to beating may weather..he's predictable and last night almost all his punches were blocked which I don't understand can count as punches landed...he landed a few crisp shots but algeiri dictated the whole fight..I don't even like Chris but after last night I became a fan and this a meer con cat really needs to question how gd he is..I see every ww from Guerrero to Thurman straight whooping him out

TS is a respectable poster on this site in my opinion and despite some obvious liberties taken, is essentially right.. Algieri is solid opponent and win, a rising tough prospect vanguished. And Khan is a top level lb for lb fighter beyond any doubt.. Great skills, killer speed, formidable. Persaonally I'd lay a small sum for him to outdo Mayweahter, that is, in a FAIR fight with unbiased judging of course, something which seems improbable in reality. If Floyd ain't fighting Pac again after that, the only opponent he SHOULD be fighting in my opinion is Khan! That's the only thing that fans should want to see! good post. Khan struggled with the surprise tactics of pressure fighting from Algiri, but still comfortably won. if Algiri fought like that against Manny it would have been alot closer. The guy does have skills, has very good speed and has fought good opposition. But his defensive skills suck he took a lot of leather to the head last night I think against an accurate puncher with power he would be in trouble. TBE would beat him and maybe knock him out.

People use Khan's past punch resistance as the sole excuse to downplay his great abilities but they ignore the fact that top 10 P4P, Manny Pacquiao, has been stopped more times than Khan and he's also been knocked out cold for 5 minutes only a few fights ago. Can't have it both ways. And Wladimir Klitschko, another top 10 p4p fighter - knocked out several times in the past, but people ignore it.
