Froch vs. Golovkin at the Mandalay Bay Events Center would be a big-time fight and would sell in Las Vegas. It would both be their first time fighting in Las Vegas if I'm not mistaken. You could also have a solid undercard to solidify it.
That fight is not going to vegas.

Talked to a few Brits and they def know Golovkin there especially after knocking out Murray. Wembley would be sold out easy.
Who were these Brits you talked to? Hardcore fans? Of course we know who he is. No one even cares about Martin Murray here and that showed in the ratings for his fight with Golovkin which completely tanked on free primetime TV.
It wouldn't be. No one knows who Golovkin is here.
It would probably have to have DeGale-Groves II on the card to sell out Wembley and it can't happen until next summer so I don't know why people are getting so excited.
I think it would sell out. Maybe "only" 60k at Wembley though. But I think Froch and British boxing in general is on such a high right now.
I mean, they sold 20k for AJ vs Johnson at O2 in January.
Stick Joshua in vs Whyte as chief support and a quigg fight here and a smith fight there. 60k done.
In case he fights again, Froch fights at the Wembley only... And even DeGale might be an option right now.

“Would he be tempted by Golovkin, which is obviously the toughest fight out there for him? Even the (Andre) Ward fight is easier, because he doesn’t hurt you, he’s just very skilful. The (James) DeGale fight is a tough one for him again.
“All those things come through your mind and it comes down to money as boxing always does.”

good point, pus macklin as well. So hes not completely unknown.
I think a good undercard as well, Luke campbell, Joshua, quig level fighters and i think it might scrape 80 000.
I remember the firdt groves fight sold out ****ing quick, as did the kessler ones, and froch is even bigger now.
I want to see it too but I'm very sceptical of it actually happening.
Froch doesn't need the fight at all, if he takes it - that alone would be amazing.
Have to agree with you about the Wembly thing. Las VEGAS Was Frochs dream, and Gennedy is already big out there. So Las Vegas would make sense.
I think the fights happens though. Why?
Well Froch claimed that he would retire when Robert MCRACKEN said to him "enough is a enough".
Its froch last fight regardless, where as Golovkin has a whole career ahead sill, so in that sense its more of a risk for Golovkin.
Froch would be underdog, which i think he gets motivated for.
Froch will see that although Golovkin is amazing, hes a come forward fighter. Hes not a spoiler, so he will be there to be hit.
And at the end of the day, it makes shed loads for him...
I give it 75 percent its happening...But not at Wembly.
GGG is a natural middleweight and not even a big one. If he beats a top 168 pounder he should remain a middleweight. If he fights Froch he should come in at or near his normal weight. Weighing in at 168 would probably make him slower with less stamina. He just needs to be GGG and that will win the fight for him. Then he should return to his proper weight class of 160 and there will be some good fights for him. Some of the good middleweights will fight him.
GGG is smaller but he hits harder, takes a punch better, is faster and a better boxer than Forch. GGG has never been down in over 400 amateur and pro fights and has KOed over 90% of his opponents. Froch has faced slightly better opposition only because many of the best middleweights avoid GGG. GGG will knock Froch out at 168 in England or the USA. That's my opinion on it anyway.
Trust me if he beats Froch, I doubt those two fights happen at all.
nor should they honestly at that point if he beats froch there is no reason for him to go back to 160 and fight smaller fighters

Make it happen...FOTY right there. I'd roll with GGG but I think Froch would be able to hurt GGG. When push comes to shove, I think Froch gets broken down for a late TKO, something like the 10th.
