What was the easiest big fight in Floyd Mayweather's career apart from Corrales and Gatti?
My list would go like this:
1) Juan Manuel marquez
2) Robert Guerrero
3) Carlos Baldomir
4) Genaro Hernandez
5) Victor Ortiz
6) Shane Mosley
7) Canelo
8) Manny Pacquiao
Haha, I knew a lot of people would just vote for Pacquiao regardless here but he still won rounds against Floyd, whereas others on the list didn't clearly win any rounds.
#48 and I am not even joking. Floyd looked unblemished after the fight (a little bump on his lip but ahhh that wasn't ****) and literally won throwing THE LEASE AMOUNT OF PUNCHES HE'S EVER THROWN in a 12 round fight! It took the least amount of effort to beat Pac 9 rounds to 3. Now that's easy.
Some people would think I'm trolling by putting Pacquiao on the list but I really believe that this was one of Floyd's easiest fights, this is the guys that Floyd was supposed to be scared of, this is the guy that was supposed to bring something out of Floyd that we never saw before, Floyd was slipping and showed that he'S aging against Maidana, yet he handled Pacquiao just like Marquez or any other smaller slow opponent, controlling range and getting an easy win, no stress, if Manny wouldn't have thrown these ineffective flurries on the ropes the fight would've been a shut out.
But I think the Marquez fight was easier

people need to stop mentioning gatti. he'd not only lose when he stepped up, he'd get freaking destroyed.
you guys clearly didn't follow his career.
gatti was an action fighter who got on TV regularly. he was not a great. he wasn't even a very good.
he bled all over the place, swelled like a baloon, and ridiculous power. he's arguably the most exciting boxer of all time.
corrales was a world class fighter who floyd undressed. that's a historically significant undressing. floyd was f#cking scary against chico corrales. not only was he as sharp as you can get, he was punching with power.
gatti just isn't on that level.
Gatti was world class in the 90's at the lower weight classes.
None of them were easy. Marquez was not easy. Mayweather made them all look easy because his just better than anyone else, He's on another level to anyone
There's not a man alive 140 - 154 who can beat the master at his own game.
Based on the criteria of this thread, I'd say Canelo. But it's funny how Cotto would probably make it into a most difficult list (not saying it was) but no body on here cares for a rematch. SMH
There is no need to see a rematch of a 117-111 fight.
It wasn't as easy as those listed, but it was still an easy fight.
Baldomir.
Marquez, Pac, Canelo, Guerrero and the likes were made to look easy also, but they were all far better fighters than Baldomir who was toyed with and treated as punchbag with arms.

Marquez...
He beat Marquez in every phase of the game but the weight thing is huge. I'm constantly baffled by fan boys who can't grasp the concept of that fight being a mismatch from the jump (then Floyd comes in over).
Floyd's "easiest" fight? It would have to be one where he is dominant, in control, and out of harms way, and a guy who is dangerous. So, I'd say Corrales.
Have to be Canelo and Pacquiao at the top because the quality of opposition were thought to be of extremely high level but Floyd beat them both easy.
Can't say Marquez because that was Marquez first fight at 147 and he jumped up TWO weight divisions to fight Floyd. Marquez definitely wasn't right at 147 back then, he needed to work his way into the weight divisions with some tune ups before jumping in at the highest level against Floyd.
