Pbc is awful

I'm enjoying the fights... there's a key word in there. It nice to have some good appetizers with a nice steak dinner. There is a point to this statment

I wasn't sure who to blame, but I couldn't hear the scorecards or winner on the Sky broadcast.

When HBO and Showtime put on such great shows, it makes it clear just how bad PBC is. The commentators are what turns me off. No passion. What great show? Ggg Monroe canelo Kirkland? Or the amazing Bradley vs pfp king vargas

One more thing, seeing dirrell sent into irrelevancy trumps all production problems. Good riddance. That's what I'm saying. Now he can go see Dr. Shaw High and be gone from the sport for another 2-5 years

I gunned the production that it needs to be better if it wants to attract new fans, but Haymon does do a good job with fighters salaries. Degales trained for 18 weeks because he thought Hearn would win the purse bids and fight sooner, however Haymon won it. Degale said he got 1 million for it, and that's UK currency. Not sure what Dirrell got. Give anyone $475 million to play with, that they do not have to worry about losing or paying back, and I'm sure they could do a great job with fighters' purses too. And probably a better overall job with the production.

Didnt realize boxing fans cared more about ancillary things like sound, entrances, etc. than the fights themselves. Yes in do. It's like watching a b movie vs a blockbuster. Don't tell me you don't see a difference. What bothers me most is the fact they don't allow trainers and corner men walk out with the fighter. Lame and disrespectful at the Same time

NBC always has the worst announcers, I don't give a crap about the other stuff. FNFs never had ring walks or even the ring announcements, I never saw people ***** about that. I understand that Haymon gets some fight fans extra menopausal but this is some real petty bullshit to be crying about. I enjoyed the fight by the way, had its slow moments but there was a lot of ebb and flow. Both fighters showed something today, Dirrell came back and Degale had to win the last 2 rounds imo.

What throws me off is the Announcers. Other than that it's still boxing.

No need for complaining, its on free t.v. You guys like to complain just to complain, you guys sound like female's, complaining because their man made them cum too much.

Haymon's stable on PBC is like they are going to a spa or something... Those guys feel no pressure whatsoever to provide good fights... Quillin and Garcia did more than poorly; Chavez Jr. is out; Dirrell is out... ... Those chaps look like they are on vacation... Quillin, both Dirrels, Chavez Jr., all defeated. That's FOUR fighters that people were saying could possibly be good opponents for GGG who are now on the scrap heap. I think they have to because of pressure from people who don't want to hear it on national tv- like a mom who's kid turned it on on national tv. They are just playing it safe. Remember it's not cable, and sponsors can and do pull the plug if something is offensive to their consumers. After the Janet Jackson 'Nipplegate' thing a few years ago, the FCC cracked down with heavy fines on language and other such slips for live events. I always get a chuckle about American TV because of that. The huge 'Nipplegate' thing was shown on morning, midday and evening news casts right after it happened, totally uncensored and was even on the front page of newspapers, again uncensored, here in Montreal. No one even batted an eye over it. WOW! A NIPPLE!!! How shocking! Then again, unlike the US, we don't have a 'bible belt' in Canada and are not afraid of a bit of nudity or mature language. After all, it's nothing that kids haven't heard since they were able to understand English and most babies have seen a nipple really close up. Poor puritanical Yanks. Gotta feel sorry for them. As for the PBC broadcasts, they are very poorly produced and really do nothing to enhance the sport or make it interesting. The entire presentation is dull and lack luster, I mean wouldn't a proper ring announcer be nice?. And the commentary is terrible. Would it have killed them to show DeGale holding the title belt at the end? I have not been impressed since the very first show and it has not gotten any better. And here in Canada, because we do not get NBCSports channel, we only got the main event and then a few rounds of the next fight and we were cut off when NBC switched over.

Who the hell watches a boxing match to seen the ring entrance, the sound and production quality? I don't think anybody does, or that anybody said that for that matter. We all watch the fights, whether it's HBO, Showtime, ESPN FNF (RIP) or PBC. I'll watch a fight on the damn cartoon network if they put a card on there. I think people are just saying (myself included) is that if I had a choice, personally, I'd rather watch an HBO or Showtime card as opposed to anywhere else. That's all. That said it's not like I'm not going to watch a fight just because it's not on HBO or Showtime. It's just an observation. And for the record I'm rooting for PBC. The more lanes people have to watch the sport, the better.
