GGG is not what the media are trying to make him. Dirrell would beat him in similar fashion to what he did to Abraham in 2010. Golovkin throws very wide shots and can be countered to death with the right uppercut. Dirrell has the speed and skill set to win and win very easily. GGG is nothing special and will be exposed very soon. Much like Broner when he fought Maidana.
Dirrell is the one who is nothing special. Look how long he has been a pro without winning a world title of any kind. There are 4 world titles at 168 and he has been unable to win any of them. GGG would chase him out of the ring. He has a weak chin and lacks a fighter's heart. I think he faked being knocked out by Abraham to get the DQ. Dirrell's excessive clinching and holding to avoid combat in his fight with Froch was disgraceful. The media isn't turning GGG into something he isn't. Fight fans aren't that stupid. He is the real deal. He has a great amateur record as well as a great pro record. He has the highest percentage of KO wins of any champion. He has KOed over 90% of his opponents. He has defended his WBA world middleweight title successfully by KO 14 times and he has KOed 20 fighters in a row. GGG has never been off his feet or even hurt. It's GGG and not the media knocking these guys out. To compare GGG to Broner is just plain stupid. If GGG is nothing special why do you need a 168 pounder to beat him? Why couldn't you find a middleweight you think would beat him?
Dirrell would have success for a few rounds, then he gets caught and stopped pretty brutally. He's always been a frontrunner and really hasn't looked much good in his comeback.
dirrell was in the process of imploding when abraham was disqualified, and abraham is no golovkin. dirrell is a talented boxer but he has a touch of ortiz syndrome; i generally expect him to find a way to lose
