In his early thirties, in his prime, nobody of note wants to fight him. So he keeps taking these "available" opponents. You'll beat most of these guys. But you're taking a serious gamble. There's always that ONE guy that rises to the challenge. Next thing you know, GGG is beaten, exposed, and now the opponents line up :). By then GGG is 36+, past his prime, and he's done. Hope it doesn't end that way, buts that's where it's headed.
I assumed he was Gennadys wife
There is no way a man would wave the Pom poms that hard. It's like she's auditioning for Bring it On 3
:lol1: :lol1: :lol1:
I am convinced Barcham is GGG's little brother.

He's 33 years old, obviously he's a middleweight. Not everyone can move up 18 weight classes, mainly because they aren't tiny little humans that started boxing as a teenagers that grew as they got older. GGG is a grown ass man. This isn't jumping from 122 pounds to 126 or 112 to 115 at the age of 20 or whatever.
Where are the better fights truly? Right now the biggest fights for GGG are against Canelo and Cotto. Those are the biggest fights for him without question (not including Mayweather of course). If he goes to 168, who is there now? Ward? And then what? Groves, DeGale, Dirrell, Bika, not exactly big names here we're talking about. The only big name there is Froch but who knows what the hell hes going to do with his career at this point. Same with Ward (is he going to stay at the Chavez weight class of 172 or is he going to 175 or going down to 168? we don't know).
Might as well stay put at 160, try to force his mandatory against Cotto, unify the titles and get a big Canelo fight THEN move up in weight. Literally no reason to move up right now at all.
I know why GGG is staying at MW, for the money. But you can't say GGG wants the money and then not expect these guys to be doing the same thing. Avoiding GGG is simply better for their career than facing him, for GGG it's the opposite, while he doesn't "have" to fight SMW's. Cotto, Canelo and Floyd don't have to fight GGG, but whatever praise they got for doing it, GGG would get it for moving up to 168, especially if he took on Ward or Froch first. The difference though is all these other guys have moved up 3 or more divisions, GGG hasn't done it once.
He could crush Floyd, Cotto and Canelo I can't be any more impressed by GGG. The guy in my opinion is top 3 P4P now and I expect him to beat the sh*t out of anyone from 160 and below. I give Rigo the same BS for the same reason. You can't say it's hard to get a fight when by simply moving up there are MUCH better names than they're currently fighting.
I don't like one sided ass kickings or boxing lessons, I like competition. All those guys I named would give GGG tough fight, that's what I want to see. How good is he really? Calling out all former WW's while saying "no one will fight me..." He or his team, are fine letting him beat up no-hopers and waiting on the sidelines. That's no different than the Al Haymon approach as far as I'm concerned. It's like Ward, he should have moved up after the Super Six instead of sitting on the sidelines forever. I like guys moving up in weight to keep the challenge fresh. WW is a stacked division where staying there and unifying is a real accomplishment. MW? Not so much.
And the SMW division is worse than MW with no hope of improvement unless GGG moves up. How about giving GGG the time to unify the division and then move up when HE decides to do so? I'm sure if you wanted to finance a PPV fight between GGG and Ward to the tune of at least 10 million per fighter, they would be willing to talk. If not, why not STFU and let him run his career the way he wishes?
Seeing as how you are so willing to let Cotto fight GGG's leftovers with no criticism, you really are in no position to attack GGG for his decisions.
Are you still making excuses for GGG cleaning out divisions and is just picking on nobodies now? Who cares if the SMW is worse than the MW division, at least there are people rated up high who he hasn't fought. GGG has beaten everyone in the MW division, but for some reason he has to beat Cotto, Canelo or Floyd. Why because money...
Hey guess what... Floyd, Cotto and Canelo are fighting for the same reason. They all bring more money than GGG so as I've been saying he has to get in line, that's boxing.
Monroe is trash. Has no business near any ring with Golovkin in it.
Point is Williams fought Martinez. Somehow someway he fought him twice. Golovkins career as of now is a joke.
There is one fight he needs to take and its Andre Ward. Somehow someway he HAS to fight him.
At the end of the day hes not getting any younger and has the resume of a young prospect and hes early 30's.
Tick tock. If you are not getting fights MOVE UP. MOVE DOWN. Something. Dont just keep fighting bums.
When Paul Williams couldnt get fights he moved his ass up and down and fought everyone he could.
Why wont he just simply go to 168lbs? If he doesnt hes going to be 36 by the time there is a suitable 160 pounder lion to fight.
What is his team doing?
Willie Monroe? wtf
Murray
Rubio
Geale
Adama
Stevens
These guys blow.
Isn't that what we expect from Miguel Cotto? To be a hero at a higher division of 160lbs?
GGG is good... His resume is weak and there is nothing about beating a former 140lb champ named Miguel, that is going to make GGG an ATG. They better come up with another plan.
well miguel is at 160, so unless he plans to fuk off, GGG has all the right to set his sights on him
what's the point of moving to a division where he will not be at his best when there is only one opponent there for him, and that guy may be leaving the division now anyway? if he can unify the middleweight division then he will become a part of a great boxing tradition that includes the likes of hopkins, monzon and hagler. if he moves up now he will be remembered as just another middleweight titlist; the last few years of his career - prime years - will have been wasted.

With Ward, the Dirrells, Degale, and Froch. SMW is worse than MW? Now you're just lying to yourself
You do realize that GGG has never said that no one will fight him? He has never accused another fighter of ducking him? He has never said that other fighters are afraid to fight him and in fact has stated that he does not believe that? Do you also realize that GGG has never called out Mayweather, he only answered a question that was asked of him?
Do you actually have any real comprehension of the English language and how to actually understand what people are saying or do you simply fill in your own meanings to suit your requirements?
I think that many people around here need to take a remedial reading course so that they can understand their own language properly.
That's some man crush you got going there. Congrats, you truly are in love
But if Cotto beats Geale, a fighter who GGG utterly destroyed, you will be crowing about how good Cotto is and how he beat a legitimate contender in Geale.
Put Canelo and Cotto in the ring with GGG and you can call them 'no hopers' too once he is done with them.
do yourself a favor, before you start typing your little digits off about what I would be crowing, do some homework. I have never posted anything pro Cotto, ever. Geale is unworthy of a world title fight. Whether it's Cottos or GGGs UNWORTHY!
You have the wrong idea, I don't have a hard on for GGG. I think he could be a great fighter, but I want him to prove it in the ring vs a A list opponent. I think that at his age and mileage (long amateur background) his window could slam shut at anytime. Before it does, I want to see if his talents are truly good enough to beat an A list opponent
What I don't like is for GGGs handlers to run their mouth about how they are willing to face anyone from 154-168 and it's 2plus years later and still no hoper after no hoper
Because he would have moved up a division, it's called having a SACK, it's that simple. Also, as I stated the MW division is SH*T compared to when those guys fought, he can have the same accomplishment it doesn't deserve nearly the same credit. Let's say Cotto gets stripped and GGG is the lineal MW champ, when your best names on your resume are Murray and Geale, it's an insult to mention the names you did. Move up if you want to prove yourself this isn't boxing from 30 years ago.

Yeah because GGG with Geale and Murray as his best wins is equivalent to what Hopkins, Monzon and Hagler did right? Put your tampon back in sweetie.

GGG has fought 2 solid MW's Geale and Murray, both are B class fighters. Him going back to Willie Monroe Jr, "because he was the only one who wanted to fight us" is about the dumbest sh*t I've ever heard. Okay, he wants to unify. Guess what? This isn't the 70's and 80's when that was something special. Boxing is too thin nowadays to be looked at as great by staying in one division, the talent pool isn't deep enough.
GGG can be asked/talk about whoever the hell he wants. All that matters is WHO he is fighting and if he went up and fought a bum at 168, it gets more credit than a bum at 160 it's as simple as that. He wants fame/glory and money this is why he is calling out Canelo, Cotto, Floyd and everyone else. Guess what? They do too, and GGG doesn't bring as much as the other names I mentioned. So he'll have to get in line. Continue your f*cking crying b*tch on her period complaining daily tirade, but it's stupid because he should say f*ck them and move up. Manny jumped up two divisions to face Oscar, GGG can't even move up one? Canelo at 155 is at least in his 3rd division, Cotto's 4th. GGG still just 1, with not an elite or A level name on there.
Paul Williams couldn't get a fight, he moved to 154/160 and fought Martinez. See how easy it is to move up in weight? The issue may not even be GGG, it's HBO and their need to push their agenda ever since Haymon left. Now they feel the need to control everything and make people only look good, if they own them I should say. If you aren't owned by HBO then they make you fight tough fights (Cotto.) The point is he should shut the f*ck up or move up in weight, till then better get in line. That is boxing and it always has been.

I just noticed you live in Detroit. I always wondered how that city could go bankrupt but if you are an example of the average intelligence of those who live and work there, I no longer wonder how it happened. :fing26:
