Chocolatito may be the best boxer you've never heard before. https://www.throwdownfantasy.com/games/join_game/554cf66d9b8db
No, he has all the akills and attributes but flyweight is not going to get enough attention like the other popular divisoins. Hopefully it benefits from the rise of the bantamweight division.
I hope so. He's an excellent fighter, who deserves the credit that has come his way of late.
Probably doubtful though, due to his weight. It's a shame the small divisions go under the radar.
He's up against it as a flyweight. But he always puts on a show and people will watch him. Will the wider public buy into the Estrada rematch or an Inoue fight? No. But boxing fans will.
I feel like the "big" things are rarely small small guys.
I remember Michael Carbajal was one of the few small small guys that made a million in a fight.
If big means good, yeah he's already good. If big means really popular, probably not.
I agree with this. He simply fights at too small a weightclass to ever capture popular imagination.
At 5ft 2, I'm not sure "big" will ever be a word used to describe him.
lol! True but he's a great little man. Hes a grown man so in essence he wont grow anymore so his match-ups will have to be intriguing. If more Japanese fighters came accross to the U.S. along with Mexican boxers coming accross the border, I think itll draw fans from both respective communities.
