Crawford is at 140 now, no? I think that would be too much. FNWeight should not be an issue if the two fighters are of the same physical attributes and campaign at the same weight class. It's an issue when the bigger fighter is just as good as you, taller, more used to the higher weight class, etc. Crawford and Walters are very similar in physical appearance as far as height and reach, but I think Crawford being in the 150s on FN, and probably being as good or even better than Walters would be too much. I know you said put weight aside but Crawford is really good and his weight will matter against smaller fighters who are not better than him.
Yeah man, it's hard to put the weight issue to the side once you imagine the punches landing. I guess I just really like the skill set Walters would bring to a fight like that - I'd like to see him put in over his head.
I still don't understand what all the booing was about. It seemed like only a few people but it was still very weird for a fight that was far from boring. Honestly, it was very aggravating to listen to. If you find yourself booing this type of fight, boxing may not be for you.
Kev single handedly smacking posters around in this thread lol.
Bring on Loma vs the Axe man. That's a ton of skill, speed, size, and power in the ring baby!
These GGG fangirls are out of control these days, gotta Sweet Chin Music them one by one.

I see you don't have principles at all, when talking about Floyd vs GGG you have a totally different opinion :) Kinda exposed yourself here.
whether they are a WW coming at 170lbs, or 165, or 158
Didn't realize GGG was a WW. When I said that example, I was talking about fighters in the same weight class. Sorry but Floyd's last fight was at 147, GGG is a MW. Also, look at my other post where I speak to physical attributes being similar. They are not similar.
That rarely happens at the top level. People have to suck it up and move on. If a fighter is great, he'd beat any fighter, whether they are a WW coming at 170lbs, or 165, or 158, a great smaller fighter will beat a good bigger fighter. When a fighter is small at the scales, that's a different story.

That's funny considering your stance on Mayweather-GGG.

Marriaga has ATG chin status. Him and Garcia eat bombs for breakfast.
It's funny? Okay, Let's see GGG come down to 147 like I said in my post.
I want to see Walters vs Crawford now - who do u guys think has the edge based on style (put weight to the side)
Crawford..... it would be similar to Dulorme tactical fight neither having an advantage then Crawford would catch him and finish him.

As you stated in your previous post - There are only a few fighters (Manny & Floyd) where weight doesn't make much of a difference - They are exceptions to the rule that a good big guy always beat a good little guy.
Other non-elite fighters will have problems if the weight disadvantage overcomes their skill advantage.

That would be an intense, very good fight and I don't know who I would choose. Because they are equally proficient, skillful and strong.

Walters looked soo much bigger than that dude.. time to move up, hopefully the top fights can still be made soon against Vasyli and others. Walters would destroy LSC, vs Vasly its a pick em fight.
Yeah, Walters wanted a stacked fight against a very good opponent that beat him years ago.
Boxing's achilles heel is allowing guys to blow-up out-of-weight-class overnight and not having same-day weigh-ins.
I would have liked to see these two fight at the SAME WEIGHT:boxing:
