Pubches thrown and landed only get you so far, boxing is all about ing generalship and control. As a fan of both I ha it 8-4 Mayweather and he obviously and clearly controlled the majority of the rounds. he had ring generalship, that's how he landed more punches, it always comes down to the punches landed vs the damage/cleanliness of the punches, when those are equal, just score the round a draw and quit being a ****** with your "oh, but he moved so nicely"

you do not score the number of punches landed. that's ridiculous. you score their effect. you ask "who did more damage?" Neither guy did any damage. So the judges had no choice but to go with who landed more punches.

Erm...You know this how exactly? The judges have come out and explained their cards? If so, I missed this. Well... I wouldn't go so far as to call it exact, but you just need to look at the way they fought each other. They basically just waited for one guy to make a mistake and capitalize on the opening. That was pretty much what the fight was about. It wasn't the high action drama we were all expecting, but it's the fight we asked for. The offense master vs the defense master and when their styles finally met, it became a carefully played game of counter punching. Not much else for the judges to work with.

there were a lot of punches thrown by pac that connected that the judges could've easily missed.

It doesn't show Pacquiao winning. It's pretty much an accurate summary of the punches that landed and it clearly shows Mayweather landed just a few more punches but nothing even remotely close to this silly domination performance people keep harping about.
