Cotto and Canelo are out. Haymon fighters are out because HBO won't let him fight off of their network. If Lemiuex wins i would think Oscar would try and build him up a little before allowing him to get KTFO. Only opponents i can think of are Heiland, tuerano johnson, andy lee possibly. Mentioning Ward is an extremely tiring subject. Virgil Hunter confirmed Ward needs a few tuneups before negotiations can begin. Who does GGG fight next?
I'm hoping the path is Lee(Easiest fight to make imo) > Lemieux (Unless Oscar is saving him for Canelo) > Canelo.
Unfortunately Oscar "In 2 years" De la Hoya is most likely saving all his 160 fighters for Canelo rather than feed them to GGG, which makes sense.
Right now I cannot even see a Quillin fight being sanctioned by the WBO seeing as how they are currently part of the lawsuit against Haymon. I doubt Haymon would want to pay sanctioning fees to fight for their title at this point either. Quillin may not even fight at MW again as he could not make weight last time. Too many uncertainties surround a possible Lee - Quillin rematch, not the least of which is who would want to watch another snore fest?
Oscar has already said that Canelo - Golovkin is a fight for a year or two down the line. He is too smart to put Canelo in the ring against GGG at this point only to see Canelo's career get sidetracked by him getting KTFO. He was gassed after three rounds with Kirkland and GGG throws triple the amount of punches that Kirkland did. Canelo is not even close to being ready for Golovkin.
As usual Good job pumping your husbands tires
andy lee will probably feel he stands a much better chance at beating quillin than he does golovkin, and if al haymon decides that he really wants the rematch, he can afford to outbid k2. it would suck, but it's a possibility. i think he may prioritise quillin-jacobs instead, however, which would allow k2 to secure the lee unification uncontested.
eh, i think you are underestimating canelo and gbp. gbp were always less inclined to protect their fighters than top rank are, and canelo seems eager enough to challenge himself. gbp wouldn't have signed lemieux if they didn't intend to put him in fights.

As for Lee, Quillin had his chance and he blew it. That was the dullest middleweight fight I have seen in years. I cannot see Lee giving Quillin another shot, and Quillin has done nothing to deserve it in any case.

I could see a Lemieux or a Lee unification fight with GGG before the end of this year. There should also be a WBC title fight for Golovkin once Cotto vacates or is stripped. I cannot see Canelo fighting Lemieux at this point. Way too dangerous for his career.

Golovkin v Lee for 3 titles at MSG.
then Golovkin v Lemieux for 4 titles at the Bell Center.
a fight against Heiland in Monaco in January
then a winner takes all clash with Canelo for 5 titles next May.
People should stop bringing Lara into a Golovkin discussion until he leaves Haymon and moves to middleweight because that is the only way that fight is ever happening. Not that I can understand who wants to watch Lara fight anyone at all for that matter.

I'm betting it'll be Andy Lee. Loeffler said they were putting together a big financial package to entice Lee to fight Golovkin next in Ireland and then Lee suddenly gets an elbow injury where he can't fight Saunders, then Saunders/Eubank gets made for the interim WBO.
hasn't saunders-eubank ii already been finalised? that should free up andy lee for a golovkin unification or quillin rematch in q3
i think andy lee and jorge heiland will be his last two opponents of 2015. there's a chance that a heiland fight in q4 could be for a vacant wbc strap, but i doubt it. maybe if cotto does manage to hold on to his wbc belt heiland will be scratched in favour of tureano johnson or (boxing gods willing) erislandy lara.
lemieux was signed by golden boy presumably as an alvarez opponent, so if he beats n'jikam, which you'd expect, the ibf will out of gennady's grasp until the canelo show-down, whenever that happens. if n'jikam pulls off the upset, i don't think there are any political obstructions to a golovkin unification, but he has avoided triple g in the past and may do it again.
let's just hope haymon doesn't swoop in and outbid k2 for andy lee.
I'd be happy with Vera and/or Heiland, whilst he waits for Cotto to vacate, though I fail to see why he doesn't move up to Super Middle to challenge himself.
So give us some names at SMW who are ready, willing and available to fight him next. I'll settle for that while once again reminding you that GGG's main objective is to unify all titles at MW.

Lee/Golovkin would do huge numbers on prime-time UK, Irish, German, and Russian tv, not to mention be fought in an outdoor stadium in front of 20-30k.
I don't understand why folks talk about Lara fighting Golovkin when Quillin & Jacobs are already high ranked fighters in Golovkin's weight class. There should be pressure on those two guys to step up and go after GGG.
With Golovkin expected to draw 12,000 people into the Forum for his fight with Monroe, and Ward maybe drawing a third of that for his fight with Smith in his own home town, maybe RN steps up and throws a ton of money at GGG to fight their guy in hopes of revitalizing Ward's flat-lined career.

Vera is garbage, not a good match-up at all.
Of course you've got an excuse loaded and ready to go. If Genady had any interest in fighting live opponents we'd at least get some sort of effort toward this. Instead, it's an easy out. The same guys that use this excuse like to conveniently ignore the fact that Ward had contractual issues preventing him from fighting. Complete double standard. Some fighters aren't afraid to argue with the networks to pursue the fights they want. Golovkin isn't one of them.
Tell me the network Lara is fighting on or kick rocks, Jabber Jaws.
You swine are all the same.
Ward is finally back fighting again and all of a sudden he wants his name out of the equation when it involves GGG. Check his latest interview. lol
I think he would fight Andy Lee in a unification match. Puts pressure on Cotto and Canelo. I think Oscar is going to have Canelo fight Lemieux for the IBF belt if he wins. Canelo vs. GGG in Sept. 2016 in an Undisputed Middleweight championship match would be HUGE business.
What network is Lara fighting on in June?
Hint: It's not HBO

Can you name a fight that would satisfy you that is currently possible after GGG's fight on sat?

Yea, Lara has been banging on Golovkin's door for the past few days.
Erislandy Lara is an Al Haymon client which means Lara will not be fighting on HBO. HBO will not allow GGG to go elsewhere while under contract. It would be nice if there wasn't a barrier between networks but unfortunately there is and Mayweather-Pacquaio was an exception.
