So imagine the current version of Canelo, who has worked on his fitness and made subtle adjustments to his footwork and punch selection, at 154lb, without being drained against Mayweather at 154lb...would be it any different?
I haven't seen him do anything lately that's made me think that a rematch would be any different than it was the first time, but I've been wrong before.
This right here is the power of buggin. If you think Canelo got completely outclassed because he didn't weigh two more pounds at the weigh in, you are delusional.
I didn't say that.
I said Floyd wouldn't fight him without a catch weight. If he didn't 2 years ago, he definitely wouldn't now
I think if Canelo goes in with a different gameplan it could be more competitive...sure.
For instance, take up Maidana's tactics. Aim to throw over a thousand punches and be a bull in the clinch. Impose your size. Don't try to outbox Floyd you cant
Canelo would gas in under a round fighting like that
Doesn't matter, Flloyd would never fight him @ a legit no catch weight 154 lbs anyway.

of course it would be. He's a bit older now. Floyd fought a 22 year old kid and was all to proud about it. Canelo has just begun evolving into his prime.
Did he beat Trout convincingly~ no
Did he beat Lara convincingly~ no
Did he beat Kirkland convincingly~ yes
One mediocre boxer
One pretty good boxer that has a limited set of moves
One brawler who can't box his way out of a wet paper sack.
Has Floyd beat any of those guys?
no one in their right mind is gonna pay $100 for this. not after the last debacle, casuals ain't falling for this one.
but why do you sound so touched, im just asking a boxing related comment, not everything has to be "floyd gon win 12-0 baby, hard work" lol
i actually think khan v mayweather is a better fight. why dont u flood haymons arse with that one.I have news for the posters on here, casual fans barely know who this guy is. The typical casual fan thinks the guy is an American because of his red hair and then scratches his head and wonders why he speaks only Spanish. He needs to clean out Junior Middleweight and then beat Cotto for him to become a crossover star in America. Knockouts like he did yesterday will help his cause though...
Besides,
Might be entertaining to see the announcing team get pelted with beer cups.
that prob would be the most entertaining part of the rematch tbh.
I rather see Canelo fight Cotto next
then GGG (157 or the full 160) or Thurman (at 154, since he fought there before)
I'm surprise people don't wanna see Canelo vs Thurman that would be a great fight imo.
Gas tank only reaches like 300-400 maybe. and most would hit gloves and shoulders.
I'm a big canelo fan but I just don't see him beating mayweather.
now if Canelo had the stam I would be riding the hype train into the sunset.
but nah, why even ask for this rematch all its gonna do is make mexicans fan mad.
Ok. If he lacks the stamina then the gameplan should be to angle for a ko or stoppage within 4 rounds. 100 punches a round. Lots of holding and hitting, throw Floyd on the ground, rough him up ect.

Ok... 700 punches then. Lol

I think that having fought him already once, he might approach the fight a little different, but I can't say that he has a better chance. So far, Floyd has done better in the few rematches he has had.
Canelo was so drained that 2 years after Floyd, he's still at 154.
Just....stop....it....thank...you
hasn't even fought at 154 since bruh
Canelo been reigning supreme at 155 ever since
:fing26:

he doesn't have the stam for that doe.
