The first round May countered him and let him know what will happen all night. I also think Freddie gameplan was to attack Floyd on the ropes instead of doing something, anything in the middle of the ring
At the end of the day that was the entire game plan. Get Floyd on the ropes and tee off. Problem is Floyd won't stay on the ropes if he doesn't want to. Hence, the check hook, the clinching every now and then, and turning Manny to the center of the ring.
Let's humor Manny, he felt his shoulder in the 3rd round. Does that explain him losing the first 3 and then having his best round in the fourth? LMAO it never gets old man.
now im thinking when freddie mentioned "outpointing" floyd it was with the canelo strategy in mind, instead of outpointing floyd with volume, the only times he opened up was when he hurt floyd
pacquiao has recently been left lead happy and very few of that in this fight also, they say they watched the judah fight yet pacquiao kept coming down the middle, even when he had his lead foot on the outside, the lead left he throws atleast put him on the outside, but again, rarely threw it
like they were doing everything they could to lose
Freddie Roach is a joke blowing smoke with no hope.

Damn Split, the avy, Why? Lol
"If a slow Maidana can land all night on Mayweather imagine what Manny can do" :lol1:
I hope fans become more understanding of the sport because many sounded as dumb as casuals.
To land 81 punches for all the hype surrounding how he throws a thousand punches is disgraceful, his performances is the worse since Gatti fought TBE, Ortiz did more in 4 rounds than Manny did here. He was tentitive, scared to get hit and basically did nothing apart from round 4 and 6, i was not surprise a judge had it 10 rounds to 2 after watching the replay a day later....

"If slow ass Maidana had Mayweather on the ropes, imagine what Manny's gonna do to him!"
You gotta really emphasize the Maidana.

"If Manny is down, he won't stop throwing! He'll fire off 8-9 punch combos!"
"If slow ass Maidana had Mayweather on the ropes, imagine what Manny's gonna do to him!"
Pacquiao had to fight a different fight, because he was in with a different fighter. Mayweather doesn't stand there long enough for Pac to attempt a 5 or 6 punch combination. Manny was forced to throw fewer punches and had to look or find his opportunities, which were much less with Mayweather. I don't buy the whole injury excuse and I think its pathetic Pac said he thought he won the fight, then comes up with an excuse. I remember some posters way back in 2010 arguing that Manny wouldn't be able throw all those combos against Floyd, because of his movement and counterpunch ability, and they were right.
Some people have been saying all along. There are levels to this. Unfortunately, Pacquiao just isn't on the same level as Mayweather.
It's sad to see all the excuses he's making but after clowning Mayweather like he has been the last year or so what else could he say? He got beat decisively by someone him and his team said was scared to fight him.
It will be like the first 4 rounds of the Judah fight but Manny isn't a mental midget like Judah.
