After Saturday’s fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, Jr., which saw Mayweather win by unanimous decision, former heavyweight and cruiserweight champion Evander Holyfield told ESPN’s Robert Flores that he actually thought Pacquiao won Saturday’s fight.
Holyfield was asked if he had Pacquiao winning that fight, to which Holyfield responded by saying he did, reasoning that since Pacquiao landed more punches and neither boxer got hurt bad, he was the winner.
“Well, I actually thought he did. The fact of the matter is you are the most aggressive one, you hitting him with shots. He was the one blocking shots. Pacquiao seemed to hit him more times than he hit Pacquiao. Didn’t nobody hurt each other real bad but the fact of the matter is if don’t nobody hurt each other bad and one guy is throwing the most punches, then how do you score the card?”
Alot of rounds scored for Floyd was somewhat close, but there is no way you can score that fight for Manny. I wish I could say Manny deserved the W, but he didn't. Let's be real.
No way Manny won this fight. I actually had it a draw. The only other way it could have gone was Mayweather by a round. Manny made Mayweather look just as bad as Mayweather made him look in my opinion. I've never seen Mayweather look like that. Even his dad was pissed.

Holyfield is in real bad shape. He could barely speak on espn tbis week.
If he really thinks manny won then his team needs him checked for early onset Alzheimer's.
This is straight up pathetic. Denial is one of the stages of grief though. Pacquiao lost and no amount of revisionism can change it. Those refusing to acknowledge it and give credit to the better fighter are poor excuses for boxing fans.
Stevie Wonder and Ronnie Milsap could see Manny lost that fight.
.....hell, even Ray Charles and Helen Keller could see Manny lost that fight......AND THEY'RE DEAD!
Oh my god that was so original and funny! You probably have lots of friends too!
Pac was the effective aggressor. He put the hurt on FLoyd more than Floyd could ever hurt him.
It can really be argued PAc won it. It could have gone either way depending on the judges.
And we all know one judge was paid. 2 rounds for PAc is just dumb.
mosley in a fighthub video didnt say he thought manny won.and tyson who wanted manny to win, thinks floyd won.
Pac won the fight. Floyd is more along a circus act, trying not to be hit but not doing enough offensively. Is it any wonder Pac didn't feel anything of Floyds, he knows he was hitting Floyd and Floyds punches weren't bothersome.
He definitely won rounds 4 and 6 doe, the rest you can give it to him just to be nice, Joe Cortez claimed on sky sport that the doctor went in to the ring at the start of the 11th round to have a look if Pac was okay.
This sucks because I know Evander personally.
Sigh.
I feel your pain, because this can be prove that he is punchy, which I really do think he and Mosley are.
Log off, bro.
Pacquiao, to be generous, won three rounds and to be insane won four. Maidana fought Floyd a thousand times more effectively. Manny, the supposed aggressor, boxed the whole time and fought like he was afraid of getting caught. The only thing he won last night was disdain from fans. Shoulder injury? **** off.
There were a lot of close rounds, i remember there being a case for around 5 being evens.
I don't think Manny won, but had he done a SRL and flurried through the close rounds he could have easily made the scoring much closer.
Would have been hard to do, every time the 10 second warning sounded Floyd just circled the ring away from Pac
just went back and watched it and scored it a draw. 3,4, 6,7, 8, and 10 for pac. landed the cleaner and harder punches. what struck me upon second viewing is how ineffective and inaccurate floyd was for most of the fight until the later rounds. pac was picking off almost everything he threw. pac missed a lot of his own punches due to floyd constantly ducking but got in enough to outland floyd in those rounds especially to the body. compubox is garbage anyone who quotes that sh-it has an agenda. i expect after the hysteria has worn off people will go back and see the same thing. an actual close fight with floyd doing very little effective work.
