Will There Be a Rematch?

A rematch has to take place because everyone says the fight didn't live up to the hype. Not rematching Pacquiao and trying to make it a more exciting fight this time around will hurt his legacy just as bad as never fighting Pacquiao so I bet Mayweather will want a rematch. I can't think of any other opponent that he can face that will bring in as much hype again and money as Pacquiao.

Mayweather loves money. Pacquiao is still his best cash cow.

I really doubt that talks of a rematch get taken seriously, and that includes people creating speculation after Manny admitting/saying he had injuries, I just dont see a rematch

For what? Maidana earned his rematch/payday. Pacquiao didn't threw less than Mayweather tonight, seriously who throws less than Mayweather? Pacquiao didn't even earn his money tonight. Mayweather was Mayweather so we knew what he was gonna be doing to earn his money but Pacquiao didn't even keep his end of the bargain. He basically fought scared and gun shy most of the fight.

What for? We've already seen what Pacquiao would do and how Mayweather would nullify it. The same would have happened 5 years ago.

I hope not. There was no controversy, and it's pretty clear that Manny isn't going to be successful against Floyd's style.

They made a Maidana rematch because Marcos actually made it a close and competitive fight. Pacquiao was outclassed, no need to see it again.

Of course there doesn't need to be but a rematch technically but rematching Pacquiao will still be more profitable than any other fight that Mayweather can make and I'm sure Pacquiao would agree to Mayweather's terms to get a shot at redemption and another huge payday.

Do you think there will be a rematch between Mayweather and Pacquiao? Surely if they made two fights against Maidana then another Pacquiao fight would be fitting. Even if the fight didn't live up to the hype, a rematch is still the most profitable choice for Mayweather and Pacquiao. Mayweather wants 100% this time
