After last nights performance there is no way Amir 'King' Khan beats Floyd.
Despite being disappointed with Manny's efforts, I have to hand it to Floyd, he looked sharp and his legs / reflexes and power are still there.
Khan would be left with his shorts pulled down.
IMO Only Thurman's power or maybe Lara (snoozefest) out pointing him are the current ways to beat Floyd Mayweather.
I hope the Khan beats Floyd debate is put to rest, forever.
Khan would have some success but Floyd would adjust and pick him apart late ..A well rounded boxer like Crawford would have the best shot the thing is he's not seasoned enough ..
doesnt matter
fact is he has faced better competition for a long period of his career, he's more experienced
140 or 147 makes no difference in the grand scheme of things, Floyd is hardly a huge puncher...i am looking at styles matchups
LOL@ Bundu
Actually, it does. Having experience at lower weight class doesn't mean you can take the best fighters at a higher weight class.
I beg to differ, Diego Chaves gave him all sorts of trouble at the start and so did Guerrero when he pushed him onto the ropes. I see Thurman as a fighter who likes picking you off from the outside with power (which is a nightmare for most) but he's not as complete with his boxing skills on the inside and Floyd will make him miss, miss bad.
Chaves didn't give Thurman all sorts of problem. He stood toe to toe with Diego at first and then changed his strategy which served him well and Guerrero didn't really give him much trouble, even when he had Thurman on the ropes.
I think Thurman has good movement and handspeed that can match Floyd. Plus he also has the ability to make adjustments too.
Khan is faster than manny as of now. Khan would not walk in to punches, hes an outside fighter with good reach, manny was small. Khan would stay on the outside and just throw flurries. Floyd would prob have to be the one pressuring him. Its a close fight but i can see khan edging it out.
Thanks for the laugh.
Bu bu bu but his speed doe....
Khant fans are just as delusional as him.
Khan has faster hands than Pac, also he throws punches down the middle from range...
Pacs hand speed was equal to Floyds, it was his foot speed what folks were talkin about...which didnt matter because he ws too short and small and couldnt cut the ring off
Khan hasn't done much at welterweight compared to Thurman. I think Bundu hits harder than anybody Khan has faced at welterweight so far.

Khans been in the ring with better competition and a host of different styles
Thurmann is still somewhat of a unknown entity, who is the hardest puncher he has faced or the fastest boxer?
We know Khans weaknesses and flaws, and we all know his strengths.
Certain styles trouble Khan, and i dont see Floyds style troubling him.

some of you guys really dont know ****about boxing...
let me give you guys some bullet points as to why khan has the best chance out of everyone in the WW division to beat mayweather.
1. khan is not the same fighter he was 2-3 years ago when he fought danny garcia. it's clear that he's improved greatly under virgil hunter.
2. khan has speed that can match mayweather's.
3. khan throws combinations. manny throws combinations but his reach was a disadvantage. see below.
4. khan has a reach and height advantage. it will allow him to land punches from the outside. manny's height and reach was a huge disadvantage. manny couldn't land anything from the outside and when he tried to be more aggressive to fight inside he would simply miss.
5 khan is younger. say what you want but this still is an important factor. khan still has the energy and motivation to outwork floyd. one of the most surprising things we saw last night was that floyd threw more punches than manny.
khan UD mayweather.

Exactly, the comparison in the class of opponents between the two is virtually incomparable.
and to sum up the style argument, Maidana gave Floyd more trouble than Pac did
and we can all agree Maidana is noway a better boxer than Pac.
The same Maidana who lost every round to Devon
Its all about styles
Khan always shines against pure boxers, ones who give him less pressure and dont have the power to floor him.
Khan is all wrong for Floyd
Hatton has said it
and Floyds biggest dickriderr Pualie has also said it
No one has outboxed Thurman either. I say he has a chance against Mayweather just like Khan.

Khan will outbox Floyd, make him look old
Floyd doesnt have the power or workrate to cause Khan problems
Manny was there to be KO'd last night, Floyd was unable to pull ye trigger or even hurt Manny
With Hunter in his corner a proper gameplan will be developed
Khan is all wrong for Floyd.
Again, people's dislike for Khan clouds their vision. Khan is the toughest fight left fr Maywether, Thurman or whoever will easily get outboxed but Khan has amateur pedigree and is very hard to outbox. In fact no one has outboxed him per say, you need to hurt him to win and Mayweather won't be able to do that. Of course I see Mayweater winning but this is the most competitive fight possible.

Floyd has a very good chin.
Khan has a very bad chin.
Boxing skills aside, Floyd would start hitting Khan clean after 3 rounds.
Khan is not out-boxing Floyd, ever.
I love how the guy to beat the great Floyd Mayweather has been knocked out cold in one fight. In another he was out on bambi legs for 2 rounds... Yeah, as if Floyd somehow doesn't hit as hard as Prescott or Garcia and doesn't have better reaction, timing, accuracy and technique than either of them. And it's not even his best punch.

DemeTrius Andrade has a better chance of beating Floyd. Infact I think he would actually beat Floyd. Khan is second, depending on how well he takes mayweathers right, he has a good chance of beating Floyd.
Make no mistake about it, Floyd was dominant last night but let's be real he looked far from young. There's a reason he's in a hurry to retire from the game, he knows he's been fortunate to make it this far, and he knows he can't have more nights where physically he's not 100% there.
