Credit to Floyd. Good performance, he did was he does best. But this was a shell of Pacquiao we saw tonight. I'm just so sad that this event ended up being so boring and anti-climactic. Take a look at Pac's trainers before the first bell. Roach and Fortune look like they're about to face the firing squad.

So many People have said it before but what a terrible advert for boxing. Congrats to Floyd as he did win, but what a terrible hollow victory over a shot Pacquiao. Will boxing ever recover from this embarrassment?
btw I still have Pac above Floyd in the ATG list as Floyd is a disgrace that picks opponents at the right time and has very few untainted big wins. Have at it you herd of cuntbags!!! :peeright:
What a pathetic person Pac is. Why isn't he humbled now. Just stop the excuses and be a man of the sport!
Not once did he complain to his corner about this "injury"..there was no mention! FAIL
His performance was suspiciously lacking. I'm not sure what to think. Pac had to sell out to win and refused to do it, even in the last round.
It wasn't lacking though. It's like when guys went up against Hopkins and suddenly can't fight their normal fight. Mayweather had him baffled with feints, counters...Pac didn't know how, when or what to attack and when he did, he nearly always missed and was then countered.
He came up against someone who made everything he normally did useless, and it showed. He still had his same speed, combinations and he was actually throwing with more power than usual and with speed, he just didn't know how to use it and was getting very frustrated.
Floyd made him look suspiciously lacking by negating everything he does. If that was Rios, Bradley, Prov, Margarito or someone like that in there with Pac tonight, everyone here would be claiming he's the GOAT and better than ever.
It's like when he fought Marquez...people always used to say he didn't look as good....but it had everything to do with the opponent and nothing to do with Pac. It's that simple in this instance.
As for the shoulder BS...what a pathetic excuse! Utter disgrace. He was all smiles, limber and no mention of any trouble, the exact opposite in fact, before the fight.
Even more pertinent was the fact that he threw the right hook and jab with complete abandon all ****ing fight! Do they think we're morons without eyes? He was throwing haymaker right hooks from the start to the final bell with speed and power, plus jabbing too. If he had torn his goddamn rotator cuff, he would have been a literal one armed fighter, but he was using both arms as much as he ever has before. Just a massive crock of ****. Piss weak from him and his team. Bunch of sore losers. And it's coming from the people that accused Marquez of being a sore loser. At least Marquez had a case, considering he won the damn fights.
sounds like he is doing a david haye
Torn shoulder is a bit more serious than a swollen toe...
But it's in poor taste to keep any injury secret then suddenly bring it up as soon as the match ends.
Economics though. Even if Pac wanted to pull out of the fight imagine the zillion dollars invested into the thing when he ran the idea by Bob or whoever... He's at the end of his career... They probably made it clear his job wasn't to win or lose it was just to sell those PPVs and show up.
The injury excuse is crap. A fight like this, you do whatever you have to, especially if you're losing the fight. Injury or not.
I hate to say it and have a hard time believing it, but I have a sneaking suspicion Pac threw the fight. Why else would he have put on such a lackluster performance?
Because he could not do anything with Floyd you fcking retard .
His performance was suspiciously lacking. I'm not sure what to think. Pac had to sell out to win and refused to do it, even in the last round.
Same story with everyone who fights Floyd. You think people would realise by now he has something to do with it.
As light fisted as people make Mayweather out to be, people get shy when the counters pour in. There were moments where Pacquiao would throw a flurry and Mayweather would catch him with a hook and glide to the side. Mayweather also kept him out of range and spent minimal times on the ropes.
When Pacquiao was in a position to throw punches, he did so with no problems.

Maybe, but I just hate it when fighters pull this crap after a defeat. Danny Williams will be shaking his head right now!
Absolute horseshit. He lost to a better fighter, claiming injury in this manner is embarrassing and makes him look bad. Even if he genuinely was/is injured, so what? As a fighter and as a man, I expect him to keep that private and be magnanimous in defeat. I would have held floyd to exactly the same standard.

Yeah roach and manny looked so worried all week.. thats why there were smiling all the time..
That's why they stopped for a ring walk selfie..
They looked so upset that manny was seriously injured :lol1:
If anyone looked nervous it was Floyd
no he lost that night. Everyone knows that lol
hbo scorecard shows that
Save that for Pacquiao when he says He won this fight when he lost.
Question, if Pacquiao honestly believes he won, why mention the shoulder? Either he's BSing in the post-fight interview or he's BSing now. Which is it?
Floyd injured his shoulder during the Castillo fight and still won. NO EXCUSES!
no he lost that night. Everyone knows that lol
hbo scorecard shows that
If Roach talked to NSAC about it then there must be some documentation or someone there that can corroborate what he is saying. If not then that's a pretty pathetic attempt at making a excuses. Just admit the better man won tonight and move on.
There is an mri.
