http://i57.tinypic.com/149qc9l.jpgTake a look at Julio's check for his efforts against Fonfara. $1.75 from Haymon sports and 2.48 from his deal with Mexico's Televisa network.
The only one that exists was the one (that one) that was posted on his IG
Found it in the lawsuit thread....copied from a twitter post...

Does it say "Purse 4/18/15"?
Given that it's in the news again, figured I'd ask....is there another link to a picture of this check?

A disgraceful performance yet he walks away with $4,200,000. Wonder where his career goes from here, oh yea he'll be matched up against smaller fighters at catchweights because Fonfara was "too heavy" for him.
$7million for Golovkin, $5 million for following fight if he lost (even against a complete bum), and $10 million if he would have beat GGG.
Bad decision Chavez.
Would have been no shame losing to GGG. Quitting against Fonfara though? Lol
I thought he had to renew his contract with TR to get paid by them.
Glad Jr. Got a decent wedge, that was a pretty humiliating performance. Hopefully he retires now, I do not ever want to see him fight again.... Did somebody say Rod Salka is making a comeback ?
Very embarrassing, what a shame, hes just a spoil idiot, wow what an idiot
I feel bad for him very sad, doesnt matter how much money u make, hopefully he gets a different career a wise choice, enjoys his family for the rest of his life

What you're also forgetting the amount of times he would have fought on a bigger network in HBO.
It was a really poor choice.
This is why HBO ditched that fool Haymon.
He was getting $2.5M per fight from HBO.
making less money=good for him? i thought boxing was a business or is that just something to say when a fighter doesn't want to fight someone else.
Boxing is a business but im not receiving checks for 4.2 so its less but more than me so good for him
He is a Chavez, his name alone brings in money, that is why I posted in another thread, despite the loss/quitting, he is still going to be a huge draw every time he fights and this is exactly why he doesn't have to even make a weight class and they let him get away with a lot of BS in boxing it is mostly because he is the son of a legend :nonono:
Good for him

I wonder if Al Haymon is going to be that generous when Chavez wants that much money for his next fight against some 154 pound ESPN fighter moving up to 170 to meet him. I understand Al has been ****ting out money and is the same guy who gives Leo Santa Cruz 750,000 dollars to fight bums but how much money can you really pay Chavez for his next fight? Ticket sales were terrible for this fight and I am pretty sure the numbers are not going to be that good since this fight was up against a the NBA playoffs and Matthysse vs Provodnikov. I really can't see Al being able to justify giving Chavez over a million dollars next time around. Haymon's best bet is using the Chavez win to build up Fonfara as a beast and then sacrificing Fonfara to Beterbiev in an attempt to build a Kovalev like hype for one of his fighters and a Stevenson vs Beterbiev showdown.
I wonder how much he'll have left after taxes and Arum's 7 figure cut.
Could've made a minimum $7 million plus PPV upside vs GGG and another possible $10 million after that. Instead, he just became the Mexican Berto :lol1:
