It's happened on numerous ocassions but tonight crossed the line. Throwing beer bottles into the ring after Chaves quit? Really?! Imagine if one of those bottles hit Fontana and he ended up getting cut. Or if one hit Al Bernstein and he was unable to call the Mayweather Pac fight all because some idiots chose to act a fool. Smh
When you are losing in life, you place so much importance on these ring idols. This can breed pain, suffering, depression and hostility.
What you saw was pure rage against la vida loca.
Peasants don't have much to live for and boxing is an escape. A place where the occasional victory can life an entire pueblo out of darkness.
PAC-Jmm 3 was a very close fight. Personally, had it a draw but could see 115-113 either way.
The fans there didn't show much class at all. Robbery it was not.

It seemed to me they were pissed at Chavez for being a unfit fraud of a boxer stealing people's money.
It was Mexican fans who also threw stuff at broner after he fought a tough fight with maidana
It's pretty disgraceful
Yes, this is bad behavior, but you guys shouldn't generalize and say Mexican fans. Yes, there are some bad seeds, but still no need to generalize. Remember, Alan Minter against Hagler; should I say all British fans are racist because of how they threw beer bottles at Hagler after the fight? Of course not.
So, yeah. I'm pretty sure this thread was created by PeasantCrusher, too; the dude is obsesed with Mexicans. But, yeah, I notice there are a few posters on here who don't like Mexicans, and it's easy to see, don't know what this is about, but whatever. I am Mexican American, myself. Again, I wish people could just see fighters as fighters and not bring that nationalistic bullsh*t on here.
Also, I remember the Broner fight. I was one of the only guys giving credit to Broner for fighting hard and going the full 12 rounds against Maidana. Everyone was saying really negative things about Broner because of how he acts outside the ring. I can see past that, and people should learn to respect any fighter who steps in that ring. Just keep it real, and respect fighters, since they put their life on the line every time they step in the ring. No more racism or nationalistic bullsh*t, just see fighters for the warriors they are and that's it.
I haven't seen in happen quite some time unless you count that one errant empty water bottle that almost hit PAC in his post fight interview after the Marquez 3 roberry ...
Oh really? That's funny cause I've never seen that type of behavior on any other televised fights that don't involve mexican fighters.

It happens. Doesn't make it right, but it happens.
Happens everywhere and not just with Mexican fans.
This has happened in Puerto Rico, has happened in Argentina, lets not forget it happened in NYC.
Fans get emotional, have too much liquor and act like idiots.
This happens everwhere
