What realistically is in store for the Provo vs Matthysse winner?

Isn't Matthysse signed with Haymon, doe? He's the one Al Haymon fighter that didn't want to be a duck so he left that ******s ass. You think Haymon would of made Matthysse vs Provo?

100% guarantee it won't be Khan or Pacquiao. I could see the loser being the next Pacquiao opponent. Especially if they take a real beating.

These are both "toxic" fighters in terms of the new "bidniz" of boxing- two guys that blatantly have the ability to beat anyone on their day but can't speak english and are seemingly unmarketable. The Haymon F@ggot squad will never fight them, will HBO let Crawford fight the winner? More like will Arum let Crawford fight the winner.. Its more likely he will keep it inhouse, Crawford vs Vargas. Isn't Matthysse signed with Haymon, doe? No his contract with Haymon ended if im not wrong but he sign with Golden Boy without Haymon.

Rematch seems likely if it lives up to expectations. Don't think Arum would want to expose Crawford to that sort of risk, but then again he might. It's a winnable fight for Crawford against whoever comes out on top. Wouldn't rule out a Pacquiao fight either, depending on how things play out on May 2nd. Either would be preferable to Vargas.

I don't really know why you would say that they're unmarketable. Both fighters have been on TV enough and have been in enough exciting fights to where what they do in the ring sells itself. So long as each guy continues to get TV exposure, isn't too beat up from this fight and can continue to win against some good (aka top 10-15) opponents, their brand will build. Gatti showed that you don't necessarily have to be elite to be a big draw. Top Rank and Golden Boy have enough good fighters at 140 to where I think Haymon's stable fighting them is irrelevant, especially if Garcia moves up in weight. Crawford, Vargas, Postol, Soto, Benavidez and Herrera are all good fights and fairly meaningful ones too. I don't think their lack of English is a minus either. If marketed properly, their lack of English could even be turned into a plus (like Golovkin's broken English).
