I am just curious to know if Floyd has lost in the Compubox stats against any fighter other than Jose Luis Castillo in their first fight. If so, I will definitely watch that fight!
NOTE: By "lost" I mean his opponent defeated him in the total punch and percentage stats for the whole fight, according to Compubox.
Thanks!
Why did Maidana cause Floyd so much trouble? Has Floyd really lost his legs? He's getting on a bit at 38 and his two fights against Maidana is the first and second time I've seen him look vulnerable in the last decade of watching him fight. He beat ODH far easier.
I have always said Mayweather would handily beat Pacquiao, but I'm not so sure anymore.
Maidana simply gave no ****s in the first fight; Ariza got Maidana into maniacal shape and Marcos kept his foot on the pedal until he simply ran out of gas. They saw the Jose Luis Castillo template, and took that into overdrive.
Once Marcos got tired, Floyd's legs worked just fine; with Floyd knowing what to expect come the second fight, he did just fine there as well.
Pacquiao fights nothing like Maidana; he's likely going to walk into the ring 15 pounds lighter than Maidana was and he doesn't fight with real heavy forward pressure either.

What do you mean by "lost?"
For example, he was outlanded in Maidana 1, was hit more than in any other fight, but his connect % was markedly higher than Maidana.

Not that I know of and I wouldn't depend on CompuBox at all, watch his fights against Jesus Chavez, I'm not sure what the stats were but Chavez' pace was something else.
He was also losing on the cards with only a few rounds to go, imagine Chavez didn't gas out.

Is there any other fight other than JLC 1, where Floyd lost in the Compubox stats? | BoxingScene Community
