Khan has recently fell back on a fight with Chris Algieri that was thought to be in talks after a big backlash.
He has made comments, ''I am going to give the fans what they want, I truly am after the best fights'', He proceeded to say ''Keith Thurman, Kell Brook, stop running out there because i'm 100% what my words are, we will sign these fights now, i'm ready!!''
Awaiting more news soon
Khan should take Thurman. Forget Brook. It will always be there for him. Let Brook fight Chaves or Berto, if he's too scared to lose his zero, thus the Khan fight.
Broner wanting to fight Khan at a catch weight of 144 or 145 shows how full of sh*t Broner is. Broner said repeatedly how badly he wanted to get revenge on Maidana in a rematch. Clearly a Maidana-Broner rematch would be fought at 147. Broner wanting a catch weight of 145 to fight Khan is proof enough to me that he has no intention of rematching Maidana. Broner has a bad habit of calling out tough fighters he has no intentions of actually fighting.
He will fight Maidana, at 144 though lol
in other words he will never fight Maidana
Did Khan just want to give his wife an exclusive before a fight was even signed?
Al Haymon might help Khan make a lot of money, but all of this seems like a huge mess so far

I read it on boxing scene top headlines so I believe it's true. Khan is not locked into a fight with Algieri. Khan has himself to blame since he acted like Algieri was a done deal. Khan talk about what a good fight it was for him and how he wanted to fight in New York so his UK fans would not have to travel to Las Vegas. Khan now knows the fans think Algieri is a poor fight and he has a chance to fight someone better instead. If Khan fights somebody good more power to him. If he still fights Algieri it makes him look like a cherry picker who won't take risks or fight a hard puncher.
Either way, it's not very professional of Khan to announce it on youtube or whatever social media, and play games likes this.
Somebody needs to knock this fool out.
So thurman then???

I've just checked Boxrec, like I did a few days ago and whenever a fight is confirmed they usually update real quick but there hasn't been any Khan/Algieri update on it...ever.
So is there still a chance of Khan v Bradley? I really hope Bradley's grown some balls by now.
One fight I don't want to see is Khan v Broner at a catchweight, Khan is a big strong welter and he shouldn't give up his natural advantages.
Hear me out. The real truth about what***39;s really happening. Hold fire then judge me.— Amir Khan (@AmirKingKhan) April 5, 2015
Get ready for some BS
Although i am hearing Algieri vs Broner might be next for both men
So that leaves Khan with Brook, Porter, Thurmann (i dont know how serious his injury was), The Ghost, Rios, Chaves, Bradley
Dont know how many of those fights can realistically be made if Khan is aiming to fight at the end of May
Khan vs Brook, Wembley Arena, June 13th (well before the start of Ramadan)
Has a boxer ever pulled out of a fight after confirming it due to backlash?
What was actually confirmed? No venue was locked in and no TV partner was linked to the fight.
This far out from the proposed fight, even the May 30th date talk wasn't all that settled.
If Khan had fought Algieri before Algieri lost to Pacquiao it would have been an acceptable fight. To fight Algieri right after he lost to Pacquiao by a score of 120 to 103 and was knocked down six times is just fighting a guy Pacquiao may have ruined. How can he claim to be a better fighter than Mayweather or Pacquiao if he fights a guy Pacquiao just slaughtered? Alexander was a very good win for Khan. He should keep up the good work. Algieri is a step backward. Porter, Rios, Brook, Bradley or Thurman would all be good fights that would help his reputation if he wins.
