I actually knew the Bey bros sister Mallana Bey, she worked in the department I was in at CWRU amd i saw them both before they went pro. I used to talk about boxing with her a lot Yeah, in talking to Cortez and seeing some of Mickey's interviews they are really cool guys!

Good interview. Nice to see some regular cats getting some boxers on their podcast to show its attainable to the aspiring or fledgling podcasters even if you aren't a big name in the game. Only complaint would be not going in a lil more with Haymon questions. Guy is the f#cking Keyser Soze of boxing so more insights on him would be interesting to hear. You need to interrogate anyone down with Al like they were trying to light a shoe bomb on a flight to Vegas. Get a good enough sound bite about Al & could go viral in the online boxing community. Appreciate it man! Yeah we actually did have a few more tidbits about Al Haymon in the raw footage, but it got a bit repetitive so I chopped it to make it less redundant and save some time. Edit: And I'm glad that regular dudes like us can get a boxer on as well haha, we have a few more fighters scheduled for interviews and we're hopeful to get K9 Bundrage on in the near future
