Thurman takes risk a little too much for my liking. Fortunately none of his opponents have had the power to take advantage. I would take Garcia. More experience and his power.
Of course they should fight at 147... (Thurman is smaller than Danny anyway)...
... Garcia is a solid mid range hooker and uses to hold whenever he's under pressure... But as taking into account the Herrera fight, Thurman may hold the required overall incentives to beat Danny... (Anyway, I'm rooting for the "hippy hipster"...)
Garcia has great timing and Thurman was lunging recklessly against Ghost and nearly paid for it a few times. This fight plays out exactly like Garcia vs Khan.....Thurman dominates until he gets caught leaping in with the counter left hook.
Brook beats them both easily.
Whether it's at 147 or 144, I think Thurman is just better all-around. Better boxer and his power matches Danny's -- if not passes it. Danny's got some serious power with that hook of his, but Thurman's got fight changing power as well.
I gotta think Keith takes it. I'll give Danny his due, though. I didn't think Danny would beat Khan or Lucas either, and he proved me wrong (and a lot of other people as well) on both occasions.

Now that thurman is legit, i can be a true fan without feeling like i'm jumping board a hype train. I'll pick thurman over anyone around his weight.
garcia/thurman would be very interesting though but i'd go with thurman!!
I've always liked Danny to win this fight, even at welterweight. Danny doesn't even need his "giftweight" to win this one. I like his awkward timing, counter punching, and iron chin to see him through some tough, action packed rounds, enroute to a ko or tko victory.
Even thos Garcia did a lot move then thurman , I got keith on this one ..thurman a dangerious match up for anyone ..good boxer that moves , serious power in moth hands and has a good IQ
How about Danny just move up already? Catch weights aren't always necessarily a bad thing but there is no reason whatsoever why he can't fight at 147. What good are those titles at 140 if he can't even make the weight anymore?
I realize that's hardly the point but still, this is ridiculous.
he's already had two catchweights with salka and peterson also, only thing left is to move up, although those guys weren't welterweights
I voted for Thurman to win but it depends on if he is strong at 144. That's 3 pounds below what he fights at normally and could be enough to weaken him. If Thurman is as strong at 144 as he is at 147 then I think he is a little better fighter than Garcia and should win. Garcia will most likely be fighting at 147 soon anyway.
Could Danny find a home for that left hook? And if he does, would it be as effective at a weight (144+) that he has never fought at? Keith is a proven WW.
I would take Keith to embarrass Garcia something similar to how he did The Ghost.
Now that's a good fight at 144, Garcia-Guerrero. Sign me up for that sh#t!
Thurman is too fast for him, with some pretty good boxing himself. All Danny has is a left hook, and Birmingham should be able to employ a strategy to nullify that punch. It would be a good fight to see, but needs to be at the full 147 limit.
Thurman speed> Khan

Thurman can make 144 but there's no need for it, Danny is bigger than most current top 10 welterweights and kills himself making 140, it's time for him to start fighting people his own size.
I see Thurman dominating Danny and boxing his head off, a late stoppage is possible
I actually think Thurman can knock him out because he throws from all angles and Garcia is pretty stationary like the ghost but I can't see him withstanding that type of onslaught, despite his great chin.
