For these reasons, Klitschko MUST fight Wilder soon:
1: He got a belt.
2: He is undefeated.
3: He got 32 KOs in 33 wins.
4: He is highly ranked.
5: He is big, young and in great shape.
There is no one else in the division that poses a threat to Wladimir and honestly, I think Wladimir should do his best to make this fight happen. Especially if Wilder destroys Fury first. Wilder would make a great addition to Wladimir's legacy. And even IF Wilder won, then we would all have gotten a testimony to Wladimir's courage for taking the most dangerous fight possible at the moment.
1) Yes, he holds a paper belt.
2) Undefeated due to fighting an army of tomato cans.
3) See above.
4) I'd like to thank Al Haymon.
5) Chicken legs.
Tyson Fury is the only man with the tools to defeat Wlad.
What tools are those ??????
his height....or his mouth ?????
Klitschko should have unified a long time ago, a little late now.
Wilder will do little for his resume. And Wlad can't wait for Wilder to establish himself.
- "Hey, why didn't Wlad fight that tall, young, extremely powerful, black, American undefeated champion who most of the fans desired him to fight?".
- "He didn't need to fight him. There were plenty of fat European guys to fight. They were more dangerous, trust me".
- "But why not just fight the only dangerous-looking guy to shut up the critics?".
- "You need to earn your shot to have a go at the champ!"
- "But what about Leapai?"
- "Shhh!"

Wlad wont fight Wilder. hell rather fight some fat slobs or slow tomato cans. I think the biggest threat he will face is Fury and fury is trash compared to wilder in terms of boxing.
Wlad likes to fight the easiest opponent he can. Hes not gonna risk getting knocked out to unify.
hes expressed a desire to fight wilder to unify. hes fought the best available guys. if he fought guys like haye and povetkin why on earth would he duck wilder. if anyone avoids this fight its wilder's camp. I think deontay wants it but haymon doesnt
Wladimir klitschko really wants to fight wilder esp since wilder got the wbc belt.
the problem is that wilder/haymon doesn't want to fight wladimir, atleast not yet.
Wilder/haymon wants to fight other and milk the title and make people think he's the real hw champion.
meanwhile they wait for the 39 wladimir to get older and hoping wlad will show spme weaknesses.
wilder won't even fight fury right now, he calls fury out and says to fury that he shouldn't fight wlad next but him. BUT fury has to wait because wilder has to fight a lesser fighter first.
if I was fury I would have contract agreement that after wilders fight he is next, because if fury says no the wlad fight because he's gonna fight wilder next, what's stopping wilder/haymon from taking another lesser oppenent.
thats the shady haymon buisness
He wasnt dehydrated, he just got his ass kicked. Prior to the fight he said he was "in the best shape of his life". Then gets his ass kicked and says "oh i was dehydrated". You wouldnt hear any of this dehydration BS if he had won
I think he was dehydrated from what I hear but thats not something that happens in the first round. it was probably a gradual thing during the fight. wilder dominated from the start so the stiverne camp shouldnt be using it as an excuse. he just lost to the better man that night and he should chalk it up to that
lol he beats a clinically declared severely dehydrated Stirverne in a 12 round bout and now he ready to stomp with the big dogs lol. GTFOH you got to put a string of notable wins together to go at the champ.
Not at all. I think Chisora would beat Stiverne and Fury beat him twice. Steve Cunningham would also school everyone on Wilder's resume including Stiverne. He was robbed last weekend against Glazkov.
I'm not sure why people seem to think that Stiverne is some elite HW? He's rubbish!! Wow he beat Chris 'I ate all the pies' Arreola, and what?
Stiverne was stopped by a journeyman and Arreola is the only half decent name on his resume.
Just because somebody gave him a paper title doesn't make him an elite heavyweight. Cuningham and Chisora are both better than he is.
Steve was robbed, man i feel bad for the guy. I don't think Chisora beats Stiverne and I like Chisora, but he loses when he steps up, a lot of potential just never reached. I'm not sure Steve beats Stiverne either, I think Bermane would stop him, he doesn't have the best chin especially at heavyweight. Has there been anymore word on the potential Fury vs Wilder fight? Or was that all just talking crap via social networks?
Who knows mate. I really can't see Wilder fighting a live opponent in his first fight as champ. I'm not gonna defend Fury here though, he needs to fight a big modern HW like Ustinov or Wach to get ready for the likes of Wlad/Wilder.
For me, Fury-Wilder is the best fight that can be made at HW. I hope it happens.

:lol1::lol1::lol1: How do you figure that? Fury's resume is just as bad and Wilder has the best win out of both.

I think Tyson Fury is the biggest threat to Wlad, and I would actually back Fury to win based on the styles. Wilder is also an interesting match up for Wlad, and also a big threat, but for me Fury is the more dangerous foe, he has more skills, has a size advantage and is skilful on the inside, where I feel Wlad is vulnerable. Wilder is more explosive but is much more one dimensional, and I think Wlad will land his bomb first in that fight.
Stiverne is absolute garbage, at least the version that Wilder fought is. Fury would destroy him.
I don't have a problem with the Wilder-Wlad fight, however i think there's fighters out there who deserve the shot more. Fury, who's resume sh1t's all over Wilders, or Povetkin, who has been knocking out very good opposition.

1) It's a real belt from beating Stiverne, who was a respectable opponent.
2) He did fight tomato cans. Except Scott and especially Stiverne. He beat them all, though. Easily.
3) See above.
4) Who cares who to thank, he's highly ranked.
5) Chicken legs? WTF.
To me, it seems like you're scared of Wladimir taking this fight. Come on, who else would you like to see him fight? Fury? Fury has yet to beat a guy like Stiverne...

What makes you say that? Wilders incredible level of competition? The vast swathes of talent he has displayed against whom?
Wilders only win of any significance is Stiverne who is on the wrong side of 30 and won a vacant title from Chris Arreola. If he fought Tony Thompson and won it would be the best win on his record.
I don't think Wilder is even 3rd best at Heavyweight. Fury is better, Povetkin is better, Klitschko is obviously better. I'd wager Tony Thompson is better also, Chisora would give the dude a run for his money if he fought him the same way he fought Vitali.
Bang average fighter with an admittedly dynamite right hand and an OK jab.
Come on, Thompson and Chisora would get destroyed by both Klitschko, Wilder, Povetkin and Fury.
