If Floyd is the lead promoter and putting up the majority of the risk/investment for the event, can he afford to walk away from the fight and lose money if he doesn't like Manny's NSAC approved gloves on fight night?
Pacquiao isn't maidana this isn't some **** you I'm the man **** Floyd knows he needs to win this fight the right way other wise it's a waste in sure even he knows it. Looking back it almost seemed like he did that so he wouldn't **** up this fight I wouldn't put it past him I'd do it for 120 million.
I remember Bob Arum telling reporters that both fighters are free to use gloves of their choice at the presser. I think I saw this on one of Seckback's videos, too lazy to seach & post it here right now.
EDIT: See this link, search for "gloves". http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/othersports/boxing/manny-pacquiao/11427333/Manny-Pacquiao-v-Floyd-Mayweather-all-you-need-to-know-about-the-fight.html
That answer may change on fight night, as it did in the first Mayweather-Maidana fight.
So again why make the thread then if when you get the answer you're not going to accept it?
Why not make a thread and say "Floyd won't let Pacquaio wear the gloves he wants he will make him wear something else on fight night"
Then we can bump it when you're wrong.
Why are you asking the question if you aren't going to accept the answer?
That answer may change on fight night, as it did in the first Mayweather-Maidana fight.
team pacquaio are idiots, I know that for a fact. So theirs something fishy about the gloves that team pacquaio are not quite aware of yet. It can probably be reyes gloves but the thing is has to be orthopedic foam reyes gloves lol.
At the presser last week, this kid was promoting the contractual agreed upon gloves. I got this from Floyds website:
