We keep hearing the people tell GGG to move up 8 pounds for a Ward fight so when will Ward go up the 7 and fight the Russian?
He beat Froch and won't go to England to fight him again. He won't be fighting the Dirrell brothers now that he's with Jay z and they are with Haymon.
Just as people say there's nobody for GGG at 160, the same holds true for Ward at 168.
Take your 2 tune ups and bring your azz to 175 for a Kovalev fight so we can finally be done with you for good.
Only black boxers are allowed to pick on guys from the lower weights. They're not obligated to go up and fight after so called "clean" their division. You worldstar fags need to keep the same standards even for everybody. That's hard isn't it?
They're afraid of seeing their World Star stars get world-starred.

One fight should obviously happen before the other.

Fans clearly don't like even fights. It's why they want GGG vs Cotto and Ward vs Kovalev. And the only fight they're fine with GGG taking at 168 is a mismatch against Chavez Jr.
I would even take Ward vs Pascal at this point. Wards literally got nothing left at 168. Nothing!!! He's become irrelevant. His career is revolving around GGG moving up. Smh

Before we can determine Ward's hitlist, we need to see the corresponding still from Dawson vs Hopkins.
Maybe not, after a few fights at 175 though I suspect you'd be of a different opinion.
People are still talking about him because he's gonna be P4P no.1 when Floyd retires. Ward has all the attributes bar personality to become número uno.
Guys hate on him because he's a winner, just like Floyd. Ok he's had his promotional issues and now he's aligned himself with HOV he'll get the big fights he has craved as well as the pay cheques.
Ain't no rush to move up, it will happen. Too much money is vested in him not to fight the big boys coming through at 175 like Stevenson or Kovalev winner, and guys like Beterbiev.
"After a few fights at 175"
So in Ward's world that's about 75 years from now.
What you talking about man ! Ward fights at 168 and as made his plans clear, he will move up when he decides to add the weight naturally, he isn't gonna move up to move down, he ain't some dumb mook.
Kovalev has more business to tend to at 75 for the duration of the year with Mohammedi and hopefully Stevenson if he finally mans up with the mandate now soon to be upon him. Ward isn't on a deadline, he doesn't have to adhere to a timeline, he wants the GGG fight since the Kazakh wouldn't shut up using his name for the best part of 18 months, he's just waiting for him to move up, unless of course GGG don't wana move up until Ward does!
I'd love to see Kovalev vs Ward, I'm just a realist, and pay attention to what the actual boxers are saying, you should try it.
"....pay attention to what the actual boxers are saying."
Erm, like they never speak any bs about what's what with who they'll fight etc. Floyd made a career out of rationalizing his ducking.
I'd give GGG every chance against Ward. Kovalev would end him, and Stevenson would have a chance. Beterbiev at 175 is another one to watch, but it's early yet.
Even some of the young lads coming up at 168 would give him a go, Dirrell (it'll never happen though), Groves, DeGale.
This fellah was fading against Froch - the myth that it was totally all Ward's way has been hyped, he beat a weight drained Dawson and other than those and maybe Kessler it's been respectable fringe contenders for him. Needs to get in the ring, he's got a long way to go to cement any kind of 'legacy'.
He could start with an easy fight like Bute, then take on some of these young ones, or rematch Froch in UK, then let's see if he's keen on Kovalev, I doubt it.
*Waits for Ward V Grachev announcement, lol.
Kovalev destroys Ward tbh. But I'd still like to see it happen just because of the contrast in styles. No reason for Ward to stay at 168 as he has pretty much already owned that division for years. Plenty of competition at 175.
One fight should obviously happen before the other.

Except for the fact that the ward/Dawson fight was 3 yrs ago and golovkin just fought Rubio like 5 months ago
We shall see if Ward vs Froch goes up for BID, I think Roc Nation will go ALL OUT to get that fight here in the States just like Warrior Boxing/Al Haymon out bit Hearn for the Dirrell vs DeGale Fight!
Have a feeling ROC will make a huge bid too, whether it makes a loss or not I expect something huge to put them on the map. Hopefully Froch does not vacate.
If Roc Nation is willing to foot the bill and put up big money, why is it that both Showtime and HBO refused Ward's terms to show his tune up rights? Roc Nation is not paying the bill, they expect the network to do so and they are not interested.
Wait So Roc Nation Should Put The Event Together And HBO Should Be Allowed To Show Up With Cameras And Show It For Free? :lol1: OF COURSE THEY HAVE TO PAY! HBO did not want to show his fight vs a Tune Up they have every right to reject that!
If they was willing to pay Quillin and that other guy all that money, I'm sure they will put up what ever it takes for Ward and Cotto as well!

Why are Ward fans so desperate for GGG to move up to 168?
LOL @ "stacked division"
Not a Ward fan and not desperate. I want to see Ward-Golovkin in the near future though
Find out other fight night weights, GGG always 170 on the dot.
Kova splatters Ward and makes you weep into your Du-Rag that's why u want him to pick on a middleweight.
:lol1: Dude would definitely be pulling that do-rag down over his eyes once Kovalev unleashes hell.
LMFAO @ Rubio's listed height.
Yeah. Based on that, Rubio/Ward needs to happen before Kovalev/Ward.
