seems like former nflers have always had the weakest of chins. probably due to the lack of amateur background where you get acclimated to taking and rolling with the punches. very few heavyweights have made it to the championship level with a limited amateur background. larry holmes and tim witherspoon are a couple of the exceptions Rahman as well... He wasn't nfl but a very good football prospect until a car accident derailed it if memory serves

It isn't a very good chin, but the last time I even saw Wlad really hit on the chin was Haye in the 12th and before that maybe Sam Peter. He sort of wobbled when Pulev hit him. He doesn't get hit very often at all anymore. I agree its not a very good chin but it sure as hell isnt made of glass either. he hasnt been hit alot but hes taking some shots over the last 10 yrs. you dont fight over a 10 yr span without taking some whacks. nobodies defense is that good,,lol

I still haven't seen evidence that glass chins exist, just fighters with defensive lapses. If that were true than every fighter that doesn't get KO'd or knocked down would have good defense, which we know isn't true. In that case if some guys have strong chins, invariably some guys have weak chins.

I fear for Tyson Fury if he does get in there with Wlad later this year.
