How bad is it if Cotto fights K9?

Pretty fkn bad. Especially if it's for the belts. I'd give him the gimme if it was a couple of months after he won them, but by the time this goes off it'll be how long he's been lineal mw champ? Now Molina was ****? everyone was saying he was the **** when he beat Kirkland and made others look average. I say Molina was better than decent. Now? There are only about 20 people on this site that can actually tell good talent from bad/overhyped talent. Molina has and always been average at best, but he has nothing to do with this because Cotto is fighting K-9 who sucks whether he has a belt or not. Who he beat for it doesn't matter, K-9 is not in Cotto's league and the fight is a joke. Cotto is better off not fighting.

imo cotto is gonna fight k9 for the 154 lbs title and vacate the 160 lbs title. If he wins and floyd wins.... we can see floyd-cotto2 for the WBC, WBA & IBF titles and we would have a unified champ at 154. If floyd wins both pac and this cotto 2 fight, he would be unified champ both at 147 & 154 lbs AT THE SAME TIME. Just speaking hypothetically.

if Cotto made Salka move up to 160, you would find a way to justify it as a good fight You cant compare Salka to Bundrage. Bundrage is a two time 154 pound champ and beat Carlos Molina who many tought was one of the top 5 154 pounders and the men who made Canelos opponent Kirkland look like a bum.
