TBH and not disrespectful but was GGG hurt or something? That was one of the most bazaar interviews i have ever seen post fight. Max was asking him straight questions and he couldn't pull the trigger on what he was saying...
Great fight, odd odd interview.
Ermhhh no... He always speaks jargon, broken English! His English is awful & a lot is lost in translation when interviewing him, try watching his interviews in his down time too... There exactly the same type of verbiage! Bloody hell, is this so hard to believe or something, that a guy struggles with the nuances of western terminology & the English language! All his interviews are bizarre to those who expect him to be fluent in there language... Remember the 'good boy' thing? LOL Hurt from what? A few little flurries & the odd one two? This guy has never been down... Wishful thinking on your part me thinks!
yeah if you look at the previous posts this has been dealt with.
Kellerman should speak more simply if he wants an answer from a guy where English isn't his first language. HBO's job should be to make this guy look good, not confuse him with metaphors and analogies. also i think they should ask him the same questions in the pre-interview as they ask him at the end of the fight.
Did it occur to you that he may have memorised choice sentences to say after the fight based on what he expected the interviewer to ask him, not what he could actually understand.
yeah bro it's been sorted.
would it not occur to HBO to thresh out the idea before interviewing him? It's common sense no?

Kellerman asked some stupid ass questions yesterday.
Where you considering asking the ref to stop the fight?
WTF? Why would you ask the ref to stop a fight, it's his job to end it
He didn't have a translator there. I know english isn't his first language, but the responses where waaaaaaay of. Like "do you like Monte Carlo" GGG " Sometimes I eat sandwiches" bad. you know what i'm saying?

HBO needs to understand that his English is not top notch, either get him a translator when asking hard questions or water it down enough for him to understand.
yeah very true. they do have pre fight interviews to talk to him if HBO is trying to hype him putting him in with Max "thesaurus" Kellerman he needs to dial it back.

When an American says something like "dishing out punishment"
i don't think they use phrases like that in Kazakhstan and his translator probably had a hard time thinking of what to say right away.
How could he be concussed...he didn't take any hard shots? That's how he does interviews...he has very little English command. He has a few standard answers that he knows how to say and uses them regardless of the question asked because that's what he knows he can use. He's always lost during the interviews and does what he can to get through them.

It's a gland in the brain, sandwiched between the left pilibutary and right secrobitum. Responsible for language comprehension.
I know he knows English. The responses where completely off. asking about if he was concerned about his opponents when he fights them he comments on his promotional company... He sounded really punch drunk. I wonder if they are pushing him a bit fast, Vargas esk i mean.
Hes still learning, and after the biggest drama show ever in the history of drama shows he was very excited and difficult to translate.
I don't think Murray hit him with anything hard enough to get concussed
Murray did land some nice short combinations on the inside late in the fight but GGG didn't even flinch
