I want to apologize for criticizing Cotto.

Canelo's insistence on taking may 2 away from mayweather is one of the big reasons may-PAC got made in my opinion. We should be thanking him. you can't be serious? before the fight was signed, they called off the cotto/canelo fight.

I think he wants to fight cotto, but he doesn't want to fight in MSG in June, on the PR day parade weekend. He's very concerned with being the star of the show. There was no need to rush and make the Kirkland fight. Funny thing is he talked about getting out of Floyd's shadow yet his fight will be shown directly after the Floyd/Manny replay. Agreed. Cotto may not be the most extroverted boxer but he is no idiot. May 2 is Cinco De Mayweather and Cotto understood this without the emotional thinking that seemed to come from Canelo.

From what I understand Cotto didn't want to make concrete plans until Pac May decided plans. Canelo was dead set on 5/2. Now he's not even fighting on that date. Seems clear he might not of wanted that fight or he and Oscar are just clowns. I think he wants to fight cotto, but he doesn't want to fight in MSG in June, on the PR day parade weekend.
