They're still the best at 147. Nobody except Floyd is beating Pac. Nobody except Pac is beating Floyd. exactly. people were saying the same thing about hagler vs leonard when that finally happened too but it was still a great fight and so is this. better late than never has never applied to anything more than this fight, boxing still needs this and its still going to be a massive positive for the sport. not only will everyone who claims they dont care anymore tune in. they will be on the edge of their seats by the time may 2nd comes around just waiting for the first bell to sound.

Yeah it's just a token gesture now, i mean i'll still watch but it's not the same as 4 years ago. Both these guys just decided to fight each other because they were too scared to fight Khan, they have a better chance of beating each other than Khan so they took the fight now and ducked Khan again. But boxing fans aren't the sharpest tools in the box so many of them will jump all over the fight like it means something when all it really means is that Khan continues to get ducked by fighters too scared to face him. Because a win over Devon Alexander really got the whole division shook huh.
