According to espaboxcom Campillo is fighting Beterbiev at April 4th. Campillo just signed with Al Haymon.
What do you think, guys. This is another Kovalev fight for him, or can be an upset as Cloud's and Williams' fights
Beterbiev's promotor said the durable Chilemba, who has never been stopped or dominated, isn't good enough for the April 4.
Then he decides to have Beterbiev fight the faded Campillo, who has been stopped several times.
:lame:
Bro they saw Beiterbiev's weaknesses in the last fight and revised their expectations of the rate of his progression. No doubt they though, like everyone else, that they had a Tyson on their hands after the Cloud fight I sure did!
Interesting matchup. What's your prediction?

Beterbiev will win by stoppage but I see Campillo showing up to extend the fight into the later rounds. It took Kovalev to half way through the 3rd to take out Campillo but Campillo is coming off a big win and will look to spoil and extend the fight to see Beterbievs gas tank.
Beterbiev by KO in the 6th.
This kind of fucked up. They keep forcing Campillo to fight all these high risk/low reward big KO punchers.
That's the bullsh*t forced upon these guys who get robbed and never hit the big time because of it. Herrera will end up doing the same thing.
Unfortunately, Campillo probably doesn't have it left to survive the initial onslaught. We'll see though, because if he can Beterbiev might have a rougher night than expected.
Nobody is forcing him to do anything.
In a colloquial sense. Past robberies have taken away better opportunities off the table so he has to take these type of fights.
So: the "inexperienced" Beterbiev dispatched Cloud and now, all of a soudain, Campillo becomes a decent opponent... I don't buy the decency argument: instead Beterbiev should try to spend about 7-8 rounds with the Spaniard -- it would provide him with some more experience.
in the fight after the cloud fight, beterbiev still looked like a work in progress to me
decent opponent if we bear in mind how inexperienced beterbiev actually is in the pros, but i hope he faces chilemba next. i think it would be a great learning fight for him

Campillo will get taken out within three or four rounds. He has the ability but not the durability to properly extend punchers like this, especially at this point.
I don't understand what Campillo did so wrong that, after Kovalev, he is now forced against Beterbiev...
... Who knows? Maybe Beterbiev needs to spend some more rounds in the ring against a once decent fighter...
Sad fight for Campillo. He doesn't have the toughness to beat Fonfara types anymore, much less Beterbiev. Haymon showing how much he really cares about the health of boxers once again.
