Lewis/Wlad/Hopkins all came back from defeats. So why doubting Broner?

Hall of Fame is nothing.............Gatti was in the Hall of Fame...............Broner is 10x Gatti in skills. I agree that Broner may have a somewhat bright future at WW if he keeps that blood and guts strategy of taking shots and exchanging which is reminiscent of Gatti. People loved Gatti though, which can't really be said about Broner right now even though he show's true grit and determination. Broner's only chance for a successful long term career is to become more of a tactician with his offense and improves his movement. Right now he just stands there takes shots, pot shot at openings, repeat. Since he is already small for WW and even light WW along with his power not seeming to carry up, chances of him staying at the top isn't likely. He is good for the sport though and I do hope he improves in his boxing game.

Is the OP serious? The first three guys are ATG. Broner is mediocre. That's your difference. They BECAME ATGS...............They weren't ATGS at the time of their first loss.

Do you have proof of this or you just listening to rumors? It was on Twitter where he called Mexican's Wet-backs which is no surprise because approximately a year or two earlier he had made derogatory comments about Mexican's being limited, derogatory comments in reference to Mexican food and about a year after the comments he made calling Mexicans Wet-backs, he did his infamous "I just beat the fuk out of a Mexican!!" rant that the world of Boxing saw live on TV. As well, there are at least 2-3 articles on Boxing Scene point to 3-4 incidents of Broner's racial remarks. And on this same site someone posted a video of Broner going down on a dancer and a video of him throwing money away, taking a sht at Popey's, and a video of him getting a Bjob. You are new to this site, I get it, but everyone here has known about these things for some time. I realize this is all coming as a shock to you right now but hey, we have all had fighters who we had the highest regards for and then things changed. Draft up a new role model.....I have confidence you will find one more suitable. UPDATE: to be exact, Broner retweeted "wet-back" and other racist remarks on his twitter account and then said "that felt good".

Cherry picking trinkets is quite easy nowadays. What fight were you watching? I saw a intense back and forth battle in which Maidana won 7 of 12 rounds and Broner won 5. He also was badly hurting and wobbling Maidana in the 12th.

There is no such thing as a role model in Boxing, and not in real life. It is the total opposite! A role model is by definition about real life; how a person carries themselves outside of the ring, the court, the swimming pool, etc. That is where a role model is characterized, not inside the confines of their sporting activity. Outside of the sporting activity is where Broner said "I just beat the fuk out of a Mexican!" And where he said Mexican's were limited, and used food references to insult them, and where he called them "Wet-Backs" and where he hit an old lady and took her purse and where he commits gross acts while being filmed, flushed money down the toilet, money that could have been used to help hungry children here and overseas. That's your "role model". You got your 4.0 in school....excellent! That's a great thing to accomplish. I have done the same. But now it's time to get your 4.0 in real life, called the experience of life and learning from your experiences along the say. There is no shortcut for that, wisdom takes time.
