Mathyssee vs Provodnikov: Who wins the brawl?

Provo was hurt pretty bad by Algieri, who isnt particularly hard hitting, and Matthysse has had problems with his eye twice, although I believe that's more about the ****ty corner not knowing how to handle it. Both hit hard but Matthysse has more KOs and more one punch KO wins. I don't think Prov was hurt nearly as bad as people like to make it out to be. Basically Algieri moves/ran and threw punches at the right times, which just interrupted Prov's rhythm. Mathyssee doesn't do that, not do I think he is capable of doing that. He may try, but I think the first time he eats one of Prov's punches, he will stand there and trade. I am hoping for fireworks in this fight.

This is gonnna be a 50 50 barn burner. If lucas cant slow ruslan down and get his respect By rd 3 he gets walked down . It all depends on if ruslan can take lucas power like he did bradley .. If he can lucas is in trouble. if i was lucas,study the shane vs margo fight.. work on strength not speed in training camp.work on body work inside... Shanes gameplan vs margo is the way to win. 50 50 fight you talk about the bradley fight, so i guess you saw that fight, in round 3 provo didn't throw anything (in fact he didn't fight back at all until round 6 if i'm not wrong), it's provo who needs to take lucas out early in the fight, if not he will be in trouble. ruslan has shown poor stamina. this is the key if you ask me. i do agree is a 50/50 fight though

Osvaldo Principi called "ley del palo por palo", which is spanish and translates roughly to the law of blow per blow, basically means trading punches and lets see who's the tougher guy. I see Provodnikov going for that sort of thing because he hasnt got much more than that to offer. We saw him complain that Algieri was running (when in reality he was being smarter and in many ways outboxing him). I dont think Matthysse would go for a blow for blow trade against Provodnikov when he's got better boxing skills to use, but lets say he does, who do you think wins the blow for blow fight? hey, look who slinked back from under his hiding rock. welcome back. Unlike Danny, who is superior to Matts in every way, I see Matts beating Provodnikov soundly. I think your boy is being groomed for a Manny fight just as he was a Floyd fight. Lets hope he doesn't run into any superior boxers this time.

I don't think it will be 100% just a brawl. Lucas will combine his boxing skills and defense with his high volume, high power attack to win. Ruslan will just brawl but he is damn good at brawling.

I voted Lucas. He has even more power than Ruslan and he is smarter, faster and a better boxer with more skill on offense and defense.

Have to give the edge to Provodnikov in a toe to toe brawl and the best chin usually wins out when two punchers go at it. Provo might not have the best chin but I've never seen him hurt, and personally I think he hits harder too. However, it might just come down to who lands the best shot.

i don't think letting lucas punch you clean in the face several times is a good idea, no matter who you are. cuti barrera said that nobody comes to fight lucas, and when somebody do it, we will se lucas boxing. that's what provo will do, come to fight.
