When Matthysse fought Danny Garcia he spat in the ring more than once.
Are you okay with this? What is your take on this?

I think it's an elaborate plan to lure his opponents into a wet place so they're out of balance, then he knows where exactly to punch them and knock them out. Lucas has photographic memory and he remembers every single spot where he spits his devil loogie.
He should be investigated and have his boxing license revoked for cheating.
Similarly... peeing on the street is disgusting and barbaric. If you can't wait till you can find a toilet you should have your license as a member of civilised society revoked.

He's spilling his opponents blood all over the ring, and plenty of his own at times, and you're worried about saliva? Most athletes spit, its and intense physical activity where body fluids dont offend normal people. In most contact sports blood, sweat and tears (and spit) fly all over the place.
for the ones saying its normal and is fine. i guess they should start taking piss and crap in the ring too then right?? thats why there's breaks, so if u need to spit, thats when u do it. u dont see basketball players spitting on the court do u?
What do you think about Lucas Matthysse spitting in the ring during fights?
what do i think? i think is the manliest thing in the entire world.

the giant slippery logos also cause slips but boxing isn't a real sport so they allow things like that to effect the outcome of fights because when money is on the line integrity goes out the window. maybe if lucas gets a spit sponsor that will make it ok.
Like sponsored by a **** company or something......:D
It can cause slips that could be ruled as knockdowns. I haven't noticed him do that though. If he does, he needs to stop. You don't spit in the ring. The ring is not a field where all you need to do is cover it with dirt with your shoes.

Fine with it. Lots of sportsmen spit. Boxers may do it due to water between rounds or habit.
I never noticed. He is one of my favorite fighters and he fights clean so as long as he doesn't spit on his opponent or the referee I see no problem.
Lucas has been known to rabbit punch quite often. I wouldn't call him dirty but I don't think "clean fighter" is the right term either.
