My arguement vs the op is you asked with our life on the line. Ali lost the biggest fight in boxing history fair and square after all that mouthy talk. Got dropped.. Roy lost maybe 5 rounds in 15 Yrs...from 154 to 205.. beat that.

Given that there are more HW champions post 1980 as there are champs in the rest of HW history, and the fact that I can't think of really any single post 80's HW champ that Ali could CLEARLY beat, most of them easily punching his lights out, I think Roy is the obvious choice. I can't see Roy losing to many options at all really. In fact I think a LHW, CW or HW Roy would beat the living crap out of Ali himself! Ali was a featherfist cruiser punch bag. Fact! :boxing: Ali was 6'3, weighed around 210-213 (roughly) in or near what is considered his prime (as far as I know) and has 37 KO's out of his 56 wins. He was hardly featherfisted, was technically way over the Cruiser limit and was far from a punchbag in those years. What are you talking about bro?

Roy because light heavy division has always been sh1t so roy has a very high chance of winning. In heavy there are killers Dude. LHW is stacked. Look on the bright side. You have a lot of great boxing to learn still. Roy always does well in fantasy fights. So does Ali. Ali however, has real fights to back up his claim having fought and beaten much the better opposition, so I'll go with him. I fact there isn't a single HW in history where Ali has a less than 50% chance of winning. The same cannot be said about Jones.

On their best biggest nights ever .. ALI LOST ...i love and adore both Ali said the worst things ever to fraizer. he was Ali.
