Hi I wanted to know who you think are good boxers to watch from an amateur point of view. With that I mean like they have really good use of the jab they cover the basics really good, good footwork… summary someone who you can kind of copy and will help you develop and learn useful movements to become a better amateur. For me: -Andre ward- Terence Crawford- Oscar dela hoya …
(I know rigondeaux is one of the be amateurs ever but his footwork and skills is not something tat I would try in an amateur fight he does not use is jab it as much as other fighters…)

Floyd Mayweather, Andre Ward, Bernard Hopkins, Sugar Ray Leonard, Ali, Foreman.
Mike McCallum was a great fundamental fighter, Ricardo Lopez was the ultimate master of the basics in my opinion. Mikey Garcia also impresses me with his mastery of the fundamentals.
But you can't learn everything from one fighter, you have to study a number of fightrrs and use what u can from what they do, like u can take the jab and the jab left hook combo from Dela Hoya, moving and getting off the ropes from a ypunger Mayweather, counter right hand over the jab from Ali, body work from JCC and feints from Roberto Duran. You can incorporate that in one style and be a very sophisticated fighter, but I wouldn't do this until I have at least 20 amateur fights.
Well if you mean something that you can attain without having the level of talent that Rigondeaux or a Lomachenko posses in terms of footwork etc . I would Suggest Garcia. Does nothing amazing does everything well.
