We all want the fight and we all feel it's close to becoming a reality. However negotiations are tough. It always seems the bigger the fight the longer the negotiating process seems to take. According to Espinoza they are no where close to finalizing a deal.
It's almost February and before you know it May will be upon us. At this pace there will no time for a proper multi city press tour. Personally I don't see why this fight has to happen on May 2nd. I know Floyd has made Cinco de Mayo weekend his fight day over the past few years but were talking about potentially the most lucrative fight in history. I don't think the May 2nd date is a deal breaker. I can see Floyd moving the date if a deal can't be reached.
Pan-Africanist, dear: pan-Africanists don't read old news? After the Maidana 2 fight, Mayweather said he would take a longer vacation. What precious information are you able to extract from this?
What's your point? I don't get it.
Doesn't need a multi city press tour

It does if you want to maximize their earning profits. Where talking about 2 of the highest guarantees in boxing history. Not to mention 2 networks. A lot of money on the line. You have to get Floyd and Mannys face out there for people to see them square off.
