this is the benefit of ducking, fanboys can always claim and argue he'd have gone through everybody possible undefeated when in reality he simply ducked the ones that had a shot of beating him.
Foreman should have ducked ali and young ... he'd be the GOAT then at least by that logic
Define ducking in detail and I will apply your definition to a whole range of fighters .
Ducking is a throw away term haters use to describe a fighter he doesnt like not fighting somebody he thinks he should before the fact , after the fact its a cherry pick , this can apply to any fighter thats out there and any 2 opposing fans , means nothing other than fanboy BS .
Again the most ignorant group of fanboys live here .

Going by probabilities, I would not have picked 0-4 but neither would I have picked 4-0. It's somewhere in the middle.
All 4 fighters were very tough fights. If Floyd would have fought these 4 fights back to back he would have been so wounded from the previous fight(s) that it would have affected his next fight.
And where ever your pick is its all fantasy , thats the only place haters can beat Floyd , it makes me laugh when Manny fans try and rubbish Floyds resume , one thing I will give boxing scene as winning hands down , it most definitely has the highest number of boxing ignorant people on the Internet .
I'm no fan of Mayweather but I think it's far funnier that there are 32 people who voted he'd lose all 4 lol.. I voted 1.. Williams... Prime Pac would have given him hell though for sure...

So Quintana, a southpaw, countered Paul Williams. I didn't realize floyd was a southpaw.
The concept is, they (Lara, Quintana) stayed outside and boxed/countered. Like Roy Jones said, "Paul Williams fights like a midget". So you can actually stay outside and counter him if you have the skills to do that, because its not like he's going to use his height and reach like Wladimir Klitschko does. Paul Williams would destroy anyone in the inside, which is how he gave Margarito, Winky, and the second Quintana fight and first Martinez fights all those fits. You stay outside and have the skills to counter and time, you can win. But you have to be good at it. Martinez in the second fight stayed outside and just countered Williams activity with well placed/timed shots, he had power though, so he caught Williams with something hard walking in.
Floyd would have 6. Castillo and Maidana already beat him.
Margs, P. Willy, Martinez, Master Pacquiao would have k.o. that bum in less than 8. True story.
Floyd should have lost to Judah, via DQ when Roger invaded the ring in the middle of a round and assaulted Judah; so in your opionion it would be 7.
Many of these fights are too close to call, that's why they never happened.
I thik he would have more than likely lost to a prime (pre-triple knee surgery) Martinez at 154-160 (2007-12). Vernon Forrest would have stood a good chance of beating him as well and a prime lightweight Mosely would have decapitated him.
He will lose against those four,
Floyd has ****ing reasons why he ducked those fights and went on retirement and wait for them to retire or take punishment.
Only *****e logic will sucka into belief that he could not lose.:dance::dance:
Williams: Countered to death by Quintana. Floyd would find a way.
Pac: Struggles with counter punchers, Floyd's strong suit.
Margarito: Him and Baldomir are practically clones.
Martinez: Would be a test.
So Quintana, a southpaw, countered Paul Williams. I didn't realize floyd was a southpaw.
You can tell how many Floyd fans have joined in on the poll ..... currently, 22 very subjective fans that would protect Floyd no matter what. :lol1:

Go watch Williams Quintana 1 and you will how easy Floyd would have out boxed him .
What did the 3 opponents that Williams had trouble against have that Floyd is not? Quintana, Lara and Martinez are all 3 southpaws.
Still:
- with Quintana, Williams adjusted and knocked him out in the rematch
- with Sergio Martinez, Sergio was getting hit as well and it was his power that helped him defend against Williams .
- Lara happened after the KO from Martinez. Williams had trouble regaining old form then too.
Williams had the reach and size to catch you no matter where you are in the ring. On top of that his work rate was crazy high. Floyd counted on it being a chess match but Williams didn't care what you threw at him. He would still attack and attack.
This is a wonderful point that so few posters get. I often tell Wladimir fans that he would not have survived the 90's. They than talk about how Wlad matches up well against everybody outside of Lennox. But it's not about that. It's about the cumulative damage he would have taken going through a gauntlet of fighters like Morrison/Ruddock/Bruno/Tucker/PRIME Mercer before even getting to Bowe/Holyfield/Lewis. It all adds up. This is why resume is so important.
How much longer would Ali have lasted if he avoided the damage he took from Frazier?
That's it. Ali and Frazier were never the same after their trilogy. Fighting against riskier opponents that can damage you will take something out of you for the next time you fight another risky opponent.
Floyd goes on vacation when that happens.
Fantasy is the only place you can say that kid , reality is a b1tch isnt it lol .
reality? reality is that Floyd ducks all these fighters. that's reality. hahahhaa
Williams: Countered to death by Quintana. Floyd would find a way.

Margarito
Williams
Martinez
Pacquiao
I think he can go 3-1. I just don't see Floyd beating a much bigger prime Martinez.
Ppl should really stop bringing up Margarito.. yes Floyd didn't fight him...Floyd beats any version of him..it's Margarito y'all talking about..now vs William it's a tough fight..Floyd just didn't want to take a beating while beating him ..just like with Pac..tough fights ..vs Martinez another tough fight... Floyd has the skills to beat any fighter ..the issue is him testing himself.. he been fighting fighters tailor man for him.. slow flat footed boxers.. just like Pac lately.. except Bradley. Imo Floyd would have at least 2 L.
Great subject!
I agree with alot of the posters here that styles makes fights!
But.... What weight class are we speaking here? 154, or 147?
If Floyd fought say P-Will, or Margarito at 147, he would wilt under the pressure of A.M. There would be no way he could keep him from coming.
That elbow to the throat won't work.
Same with P-Will. A volume puncher. And a HW's reach, who would walk Floyd down. Angle shots from a southpaw, who like A.M. can take a punch from any Welter.
Martinez at 154 would be just too much for Floyd to handle. Too strong, slick, swift, and sneaky with the left hand. If that's the same Sergio that fought P-Will to a standstill at 154, Floyd would be in serious trouble.
Prime Floyd would be in a world of trouble if from what I saw in Carson,CA 10yrs ago when A.M. & P-Will got together for the Welter title.
Matter of fact, didn't Floyd go into "retirement" after Williams was king of the Welters????
:boxing::boxing:
He may not have more losses but he would have taken punishment...and we don't know how Floyd responds to constant pressure. Cotto was the closest, but he gassed.
Why is it that almost everybody who has a chance of beating Floyd always lost because they "gassed out". Are all those Floyd opponents who gassed out, have the history of gassing out in a fight before Floyd?
Why is it also Floyd does not gassed out of a fight not even once.
Is he on power pellets or something that we don't know of?
