I know he's with Top Rank but what would stop him from signing with Haymon? He is just a manager right? Would Arum just put Tim on the shelf and ruin his career?
Would be nice if he could get in on that NBC action..not just Tim either but guys like Manny,Crawford,Golovkin, etc... If these guys signed with Haymon then HBO would have no choice but to work with the guy again cause they won't give up on those fighters...
Mmm...well you know this post is cute and all but it would actually be cuter HAD FREAKING DIEGO CHAVES NOT BEEN TIMS LAST OPPONENT.
Thurman is fighting Guerrero. Swift is fighting Peterson. Khan just dominated Alexandr...Al putting up great matchups period.
LMAO....uh, you do know that "freaking Diego Chaves" was Thurman's opponent like 3 fights ago doe right?
Was it though? I see your point, but consider the fact that the 30% Tim paid Dunkin is now going into the Bradley household. For the Pac rematch alone that was a lot of money.
Yeah I would say it worked out well for Bradley.
If the fans can see that signing with Haymon means he is your promoter and manager, the fighters can see it, too.
So Bradley decided keeping Arum as his promoter was a better idea than having Haymon as his promoter. It sucks as far as match ups go, but it's Bradley's choice to bear.
Bradley would instantly be like the 2nd or 3rd most popular fighter in his stable. Of course Haymon would find time for Bradley. But like I said, Bradley doesn't need Haymon, he's fine with Arum. Well he was fine, cutting Dunkin's services was pretty stupid.

What's so great about Haymon that Bradley should sign with him. The guy manages about 150 fighters so how much time and effort can he give to any one fighter. He is spread thin with so many fighters and at times there is a big fat conflict of interest when he manages you and your opponent. Who's interest is he suppose to be looking after. It can't be both fighters. Nobody in boxing history has ever managed so many fighters. I want my manager to put my interests first over all others if I'm a pro boxer.

Would you be happy if Haymon managed every top 20 world rated fighter in boxing? He manages or advises over 150 fighters now so that should keep him busy if he is doing his job. I think managing 150 fighters is way too many and I wish there were rules limiting a manager to a much smaller number of fighters he can manage at one time.

He let Dunkin go? That was stupid. Dunkin is a great manager. Dunkin rivals Haymon as far as getting his fighters the max amount of money possible.
yea, he let dunkin go
Okay I found this. That was a year ago, can't believe I didn't know this, or maybe I completely forgot.
Bradley: “After the Marquez fight, I never heard from him. So I was like, I think I can do this ,” Bradley said. “I have a relationship with Top Rank, with Todd duBoef, with Bob Arum, with HBO. I asked my wife , ‘You think you can do this?’ She said, ‘Absolutely.’ I've been in the game almost 10 years now. I know enough. There is no better manager than me. I told Cameron what I want, and he got it for me. Now, I tell my wife what I want and she goes and gets it. She did very well for this fight. I felt it was a great move.”
Dunkin, speaking with BoxingScene.com, had a slightly different version of what happened in the weeks that followed Bradley's victory over Marquez. The veteran manager was unaware that Bradley was going in his own direction, until he was informed by Top Rank's President, Todd duBoef. Dunkin, who states that he still cares deeply for Bradley and his family, feels he could have secured better terms for Bradley's rematch with Pacquiao.
Dunkin: "I went through a bad health period at that time and he knows that. He knows I was very ill. It was very hard for me. But he's right, I didn't call him . I did call him once or twice . I called him, I think the day before the Rios fight and the day of the Rios fight ," Dunkin told BoxingScene.com.
"But I did contact Monica. 90% of all of my talks have been with Monica. I just wish he would have reached out to me and given me a chance to talk to him, because I did call him and I did leave a message with Monica and I did send an email to Monica. I never heard back from them."
"He never sent me anything . He told Todd to no longer negotiate with me on their behalf. I wish they would have let me negotiate on their behalf for this fight, because I think they left stuff on the table and I'm good friends with Todd, but I'm much better friends with my fighters. I love my fighters and I take care of them.
"I did a hell of a job for him and it hurts. I love the kid and I have no bad feelings about him at all. I made him a lot of money, he knows that. And he won the fights. He's a great fighter. He made me look really smart. I don't have anything bad to say . I just wish we would have talked, because I get the fights done for my guys, ill or not, and they make a lot of money....like Mikey the other night and Brandon Rios. My guys make a lot of money and they get well taken care of."

Tim Bradley's advisor was Cameron Dunkin and now it's his wife
He got 2 mil to fight Chaves
Millions to fight manny
I would say they did a good job

Other than he's with TR and no TR fighter will ever sign with Haymon, Bradley has Dunkin doesn't he? Dunkin/Arum have gotten him Pacquiao 2x and Marquez. If it's not broken, don't try to fix it. He's now a possibility for Miguel Cotto too. Haymon is great for a boxer's exposure and financial situation, but Bradley is clearly in good hands with Dunkin and Arum. That guy is getting money in TR, he's not going anywhere. If he bends down to Cotto's demands, he can get yet another big PPV fight against another big fighter, and another big title fight, and big paycheck. He's fought at 152lbs in the amateurs so the 150's is not entirely new to him. I hate Arum, but Bradley is good in TR, they're taking good care of him over there with the help of Dunkin.
Its pretty simple. Tim Bradley has a passion for boxing and loves to fight. He gives it all in the ring and doesnt fear other fighters. He is more respected for the sole reason he isnt under haymons banner. Tim Bradley is a profesional boxer, Haymons stable are celebrity boxers whoes fans would rather see them post a lambo on instagram then fight somebody two legs and a heart beat.
:lol1: gold

Why should Timothy sign with Al? he is fine with Top Rank, that company has a very deep stable at 140-147...it includes hardcore killers such as "diego chaves" "jesse vergas" and "brendon rio".
