When you factor in that Canelo is probably going to be fighting on the same day for free (to HBO subscribers), this is more than just an idle threat. If a boxing fan who is pissed at Floyd's decision wants to show he's pissed he has a pretty good alternative that night that saves him $75. I can't see how Floyd/Cotto 2 will put up the numbers Floyd is used to.

I'm honestly wore out on this sistuation, we have been debating this for the last 5 YEARS non stop. I ain't ordering no fights this year, I don't wanna see May Vs Cotto, don't wanna see Pac Vs Vargas or Pac Vs Khan. I'll just sit on the sidelines, this is disgusting.

Totally disagree. He said he's negotiating, that it's difficult but he wants the fight. Showtime says they're trying to make it happen. Let's see. sure we can believe what floyd says. "Yes manny pacquiao you are next." the its "I never said that stop putting words im my mouth" You are praying to your god almighty floydie to keep waiting until the deadline, and when pac gets fed up with waiting, you know cuz they have to start their training process for their next fight, promotional stuff and what not to maximize revenue, you are gonna come out and say, "you see, told you pac didn't want to fight floyd". In fairness, Stephen A Smith and Skip Bayless are utterly clueless on the sport of boxing. Listening to them yell over one another is just embarrassing. They have about as much of a clue as a majority of this board who argue and relent about the same topic, day in and day out. At least they get paid

The only thing that would make a difference is the PPV buys. And the guy only has 2 pay dates to sneak through!
