about them agreeing to all of mayweathers demands and that he doesn't want to sign the contract? Mayweather has come out and said they are negotiating and there is no contract yet.
He may well be under the same mistaken impression that most posters seem to be under: A contract is not a set of terms that both guys sign their name to! A contract, which can be oral BTW....is when terms and conditions act as skin in the game and ensure that if the agreement is breached real losses will occur to both parties (or can be unilaterally). For example, if a venue is decided and booked. Arum could easily end the problem by putting the conditions allegedlly agreed to down, and pledging collaterial to be in effect upon Mayweather's signature. i have a hard time believing the networks could not figure out a way to do this.....If Arum did this it would be totally transparent and people in the know would know in a New York Minute if Floyd was going to do the fight or not. This could even be done orally.
The bolded part is on POINT on SOOOO MANY LEVELS. This is literally what Ariza is saying in his video. I don't understand how people are literally just not seeing this.
Although I did want to correct one part of your post. Verbal contracts of this size are usually not enforceable in a court of law and will typically require a written agreement to award any remedy.
There is no contract. Pacquiao agreed to terms, but no way he signed an actual contract for that fight. The networks haven't even settled their part of it yet.
Manny is a simple dude. I dont think he's lying when he says that he "signed a contract"
knowing how shady bob is, pac probably did sign something "official" with those terms.
problem is they're terms that bob made up, not anything that floyd has agreed to.
I am sure they are but that is par for the course and I don't think it is a big deal in the grand scheme of the fight happening or not happening. The parties either want this giant pile of cash or they want to set it on fire so no one can have it either way it will be resolved soon.
yeah, blame everyone but the chicken. don't you people have anything better to do other than d1ckride? this is not even rocket science. the guy is an established duck way even before pacquiao was not on the radar screen.
Yeah, that's the only thing I really blame on Pacquiao. IMO he definitely wants this fight more than any other person directly involved but he doesn't put the pressure on Arum/Koncz. Instead he says everything is upto his promoter and that he is only a boxer. I wish he were more aggressive with them.

I wish he were more aggressive with them.It would be cool for him to put the full court press on his advisor and his promoter. The thing is I would like for him to also go to the round table negotiations to see what's really going on. He's a boss he needs to act like one.

Exactly. There is nothing of value, or compromise that could act as consideration. Terms can be consideration but that would have to be stipulated.
I would like to see or hear Manny being more involved he shouldn't trust Koncz or Arum behind closed doors representing him, he needs to be there for this fight. To see what's going on.

It's simple..PAC is saying he agreed to everything Floyd demanded and so Floyd needs to sign a contract and send it to him. That's how it works...I do t think he means he signed an actual contract. He agreed and is waiting on Floyd signature so that he can sign. Make sense?
Makes sense but networks are still negotiating so they cant draft a contract until that is complete.

They say Pacquiao is stupid and goes off of whatever arum tells him... But he has a college education and is a congressman... Do you think it's true Floyd can't read and hasn't signed the contract because nobody has told him, I mean read to him, that Pacquiao agreed to everything?

Alex Ariza is a snake. I trust him even less than Arum. If anyone is blocking the fight at this point, it's Haymon/Floyd.
Someone's lying about something. . . The way I see it, if Pac fights Vargas in April, then that says Arum's been shady. . . If it's someone legit, Khan like they say, or I dunno. . . Then Floyd's being a *****.
