He wasnt. He just got in the ring with a guy he thought was not any good, but turned wilder was alot better than he thought and stiverne got dominated.
All this dehydration BS you here of is an excuse by Don King to avoid the fact he got his ass kicked or a result of the beating
I honestly didn't see Wilder do a whole lot in that fight. He beat Stiverne but I wouldn't call that fight a domination. I would say more of a let down. I mean there were rounds where Wilder just backed up the whole round without letting any punches of note go. I saw Stiverne get jabbed to death by Austin but this was different. In the Austin fight Stiverne was weaving and throwing the Joe Frazier left hook. Countering those jabs. In this fight he just followed Wilder around the whole fight trying very few counters. I think he looked completely different as a fighter. I think it was very foolish for Stiverne to use Mayweather's gym in preparation for a Haymon fighter. I mean that didn't make sense on any level.
If any of you have trained for an event or fightt before you know you train to "peak" as much by the date of the event. When you over train you peak early and start doing damage to the muscles which start literally breaking down going into your blood stream and cause fatigue and destroys stamina. rhabdomyolysis can be cause by a mixture of over training muscles and lack of hydration.
Rhabdomyolysis. Don't know much about it, but from the name alone it has to do with muscle breaking down. myo=muscle, lysis=breakdown.
Wikipedia helps.... The severity of the symptoms, which may include muscle pains, vomiting, and confusion, depends on the extent of muscle damage and whether kidney failure develops. The muscle damage may be caused by physical factors (e.g., crush injury, strenuous exercise), medications, drug abuse, and infections.
Strenuous exercise sounds accurate.
I don't doubt this could happen to an athlete, what I have a hard time believing is that they wouldn't have a doctor take a look at him considering he noticed his piss was brown.
There was talk of an illness which im not going to try and spell here. Something to do with overtraining.
Tbh unless we get confirmation from a doctor then im not taking Don Kings word for it.
Even if he was overtraining, wasn't he properly hydrating throughout? I know he can't chug water during a fight but....jesus. Not like he was cutting like Chavez Jnr or every other fighter out there

Saw that... began with the letter R. I have no idea... but off the bat... I was like..... Dehydration?
i strongly believe he was sabotaged/poisoned.
something very wrong in this whole situation and most certainly al haymon is involved in this conspiracy.
